poem for my boyfriend

was breaking into a fiery flower -

the crazy bright sea-sleds of your eyes

the waves recalling the clashing colors of our love

my mostly historic soul, begging to come home

blue veined and weathered

(let us tumble)

hushingly

(dreaming in glitter)

utterly and crumblingly i blush

impossibly and dreamingly

then will you slowly kiss me

murmuring and clumsy

intricately alive

luminous cluster of bodies

momentarily pondering the fragile beauty of existence

(and it made me a little dizzy)

always raining - PoetryWhere stories live. Discover now
