cringing

All I have are dreams to hold onto
Do you even know our souls are connecting?
Intermingling like smoke in the air
Our harmonies match and our melodies blend
To the most beautiful song I've ever heard
Never heard my heart sing so sweetly
Cringing after i get a taste of the touch of you
Ive never felt this lonely
The emptiness lingers piercing into my soul completely in ways I'd never known
Every day that passes without you more painful than the last
All songs come to an end
With that last final note
Hear my melody rise and fall and hollow out
So mournful
My last note hangsss
So desolate
Then
silence
