Indiana wasn't mad, she wasn't jealous. Well she was, but she was mostly upset. She wanted the Harrington boy mostly and she had to sit there and watch as he fell for another girl.

She quickly got dressed and entered Steve's car. "Morning." She avoided his eye contact. "What time did you leave?" He asked. Normally he would have driven off but he glued his eyes to hers.

"After I changed. Can you go? I don't want to be late." She looked out of the window. "Why didn't you tell me you were leaving? You know I don't like you out at night. Especially alone."

Her eyes flickered to his brown ones for a moment. "You sounded busy." She snatched her gaze forward.

Steve felt his stomach churn. Guilt flooded his system. "Indie-" Steve started.

"Do I need to drive myself?" She asked motioning to her parked car. Steve began driving down the street. "I didn't know you heard that." He tried.

"It's fine Steve. I don't really feel like talking." She rested her head to the side against the window.

The rest of the drive was silent. Indiana exited the car and walked into the school. As Steve stopped in front of Nancy Indiana continued walking. She made about two laps around the school before actually walking into her class.

After her third class she walked to the cafeteria. She smiled as she sat down beside Carol, Tommy, and Steve. Carol had her foot up on the table. She had something wrong with her ankle.

"That's why science doesn't make any damn sense to me." Tommy started talking.

"No, I swear. Look at this. It's totally frostbite." Carol grimances.

Nancy walks over and sits down. " Oh, thanks, man. It's a heated pool." Steve furrows his eyebrows.

"Well, if it's not frostbite, then what is it?" Carol asks. Indiana shakes her head, "Gross. Carol, it's gross. That's what it is.".

"Hey, Indiana. Did you see Barb when you left?" Nancy asks. "Yeah, I left after I changed, she was sitting by the pool." Indiana replies.

"When you left, did you see Barb?" Nancy asks Tommy. " What?" He acts oblivious.

"Barbara. She's not here today." Nancy says. "I seriously have no idea who you're talking about." Tommy and Carol laugh.

"Guys, come on. It's her friend." Indiana tries.

"No, she was gone when we left." Tommy answers. "Probably couldn't stand listening to all that moaning. Oh, Steve! Oh, Steve! Oh, Steve! - Oh, Steve..." Carol moans.  Tommy chuckles and joins in.

Indiana turns her attention anywhere else other then the horrendous situation she was in. Her eyes looked over to Steve who had his on hers.

As soon as their eye contact started it ended. Steve returned his sight to Nancy.

"Listen... I'm sure she's fine. She's probably just... she's probably just, like, skipping or something."
