"I didn't do it." Eddie stated. Dustin nodded, "We believe you."
Indiana shared a look with Steve.
"What happened?" She asked.
"Her body just, like, lifted up into the air and, uh... And she just, like, hung there. In the air. And her bones... Uh, she... Her bones started to snap. Her eyes, man. It... It was like there was something, like, inside her head, pulling. I... I didn't know what to do, so I... I ran away. I left her there."
Indiana stared at the boy in disbelief. He scoffs, "You all think I'm crazy, right?"
"No. We don't think you're crazy." Dustin says softly.
"Don't bullshit me, man! I know how this sounds."
"We're not bullshitting you." Max stares.
"We believe you." Robin adds.
"Look, what I'm about to tell you might be a little... difficult to take. You know how people say Hawkins is... cursed? They're not way off. There's another world. A world hidden beneath Hawkins. Sometimes it bleeds into ours." Dustin sighs.
"Like ghosts and shit?" Eddie asks.
"There's some things, worse." Indiana states as her body shivers. Steve rubs the girls arms from behind trying to create warmth.
"These monsters from this other world... we thought they were gone. But they've come back before. That's why we needed to find you. If they're back again, we need to know."
"That night, did you see anything? Dark particles, maybe? It would almost look like dust, swirling dust." Indiana asks.
"No, man, there was nothing you could see or, uh... or touch." Eddie replies. His hand was shaking.
"You know, I tried to wake her, man. She couldn't move. It was like she... she was in a trance or something. Or under a spell." Eddie states.
"A curse. Vecna's curse." Dustin raises his eyebrows as if he just made something make sense.
"Who's Vecna?" Steve asks in worry.
"An undead creature of great power. A spell caster. A dark wizard."
Indiana feels stress and anxiety rush into her. The thought of them having to go through everything again made her want to be sick. How many more had to die before this ended. Who was next?
Indiana, Steve, Dustin, Max and Robin all went to the grocery store and bought Eddie a few days worth of food and water.
"Knock Knock." Indiana smiled as she returned into the shed. Eddie jumped as five returned. "Delivery service." Dustin smiles holding up the bags.
Eddie scarfed down the food they bought quickly.
"So we got, uh, some good news and some bad news. How do you prefer it?" Dustin asks.
"Bad news first, always." Eddie stuffs more food into his cheeks before washing it down with some yoo-hoo.
"All right. Bad news. We tapped into the Hawkins PD dispatch with our Cerebro, and they're definitely looking for you. Also, they're, uh, pretty convinced you killed Chrissy." Dustin crienges.
"Like, one hundred percent kind of convinced." Max adds.
