Indiana dragged herself through all of her classes, she hated school. What kid didn't though right?

She finished up her day quickly and stalled herself till Steve finished basketball practice. Indiana walked to the school phone and dialed Joyces' number.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Ms. Byers? It's Indiana."

"Hi, sweetie. Is there something wrong?"

"Oh, no. I was just wondering how Will was."

"Erm-- We're involving Hopper and he's going to talk to someone. "

"Would you please let me you guys need anything? At all."

"Thank you Indiana, hopefully once this all ends you'll be able to come visit. I'm sure Will would love that."

"I would love that as well, send him my best."

"Thank you."

Indiana hung up the phone and took a deep breath. She watched as all of the team went off into the boy's locker rooms.

Steve gave her a smile as he disappeared into the room. It was only around ten or so minutes before the Hardgrove boy exited the locker room.

His blonde hair was darker due to it being wet. Much to Indiana's luck, he decided to strut over.

"Hey." He smiled, Indiana gave a friendly smile in return.

"Why are you all alone? Where's king Steve?"

Indiana held eye contact while speaking.

"He's probably getting his things."

Billy chuckled dryly. "Interesting."

"I'll see you around." She walked away without another word. She was trying to be nice but the boy was getting onto her nerves.

It took Steve a few minutes before he exited the locker rooms. "Can we please get out of here?" She asked annoyed.

"Hey, you alright?" He asked. She nodded as the two walked out of the school and into the parking lot.

Indiana was in her kitchen making food when her doorbell rang well over ten times.

She opened her door and revealed Dustin looking panicked. He wore a worried look on his face. Steve stood behind him wearing the same confused expression as Indiana wore.

"Do you still have that bat?" He asked. Indiana eyed the boy before slowly nodding. "You still have it?" Steve questioned.

Indiana looked back to Dustin, "What's going on?".

"I'll explain it on the way." Dustin walked away slowly. "Wait! Did you find it?"

Dustin nods.

"Found what?" Steve asked.

Indiana avoided Steve's confused look.
