Indiana held the fire extinguisher tightly as footsteps got closer. "Blondie? You in here?" The man asks.
"Yoo-hoo Nancy Drew, where are you?"
Indiana pushed Nancy further behind her. Indiana gritted her teeth as the man hummed. He opened each curtains, getting closer.
"Where are you?"
"Right here." Indiana answered as she slammed the extinguisher over the man's head from behind. He spun around quickly, Indiana slammed it into his face crushing his nose. Black blood poured down his face. Indiana kicked him back making him fall.
Indiana slammed it into his head another time as he inched towards them. He got up onto his knees and looked at the two girls. Indiana combined as much strength as she had and hit him in the head one final time.
He fell down to the ground dead. Indiana caught her breath quickly. "Why are the lights still flickering?" Indiana asked watching them brighten then shut off.
Nancy grabbed Indiana's hand as the man began shaking. It looked like a seizure but the mans skin began melting off. Indiana felt her eyes water as she tightened her grip on Nancy's hand.
The two inched backwards as the skin turned into blood and chum.
All that was left was his clothes.
The chum moved as if it was alive. Indiana followed after it as it moved out of the room and into the hall. Jonathan could be seen on the other side as the chums combined into one massive chum.
The lights faded off completely leaving the two girls in complete darkness. There was no noise and no light. Indiana gripped Nancy's hand tighter. A growl could be heard.
The lights flipped back on revealing a massive creature made of the chum. It had teeth like a demogorgon and sounded like one but this was so different.
It screeched loudly. Indiana screamed at the sight and ripped Nancy away.
"Run!" Jonathan screamed. Indiana and Nancy pushed the door that seemingly had something holding it shut. Indiana looked back to see it coming at them. She pushed harder making it open just enough so she and Nancy could squeeze through.
The girls shut the door quickly as it roared. The two girls ran through the construction filled hallway to anywhere they could hide. It quickly chased them.
Indiana and Nancy both cried as they ran. It roared and screeched behind.
"Here." Indiana shoved Nancy into a room and locked it shut. It banged on the door and roared.
Indiana and Nancy gripped onto each other for life as they watched the door rattle.
Indiana squeezed her eyes shut and awaited her fate. There was no way the two girls were getting out of this alive.
Nancy tapped the girl's arm repeatedly too horrified to even speak. Indiana peeled her eyes open and watched as the chum appeared under the door.
Nancy pulled Indiana back towards the back wall as it continued flowing through the cracks and vents in the door.
