"Indiana."

Indiana turned around to see Mike and Dustin. "Hi, guys." She smiled.

"We need a favor."

"A favor? What type of favor?"

"You have to say yes before we ask it."

Indiana snorted and turned around about to walk forward. Dustin and Mike both stepped in front of the girl. "We need you to join hellfire tonight."

"Absolutely not."

"Please?"

"No."

"You have to."

"I'm not doing it."

"Indiana, please. We'll clean your house for a week whenever you want."

"No."

"I'll do your homework."

"Tempting, but still no."

"Fine."

"Sorry." Indiana raised her eyebrows.

"If your sorry then you'll join."

"Then I'm not sorry."

"Can you convince Steve?"

"Steve's gonna be at the game with me tonight at the game, where you two should be supporting your best friend."

"Thanks for no help." Mike and Dustin both huff before running off to find someone to play with them.

"Hey!" Indiana turns her gaze to the girl with curly red hair beside her. "Hi Care." Indiana smiles.

"I was about to go light up. Coming?"

Indiana looks around before nodding. Both girls share a blunt that Indiana rolled on a bathroom sink.

The two girls finished it quickly before the bell rang forcing them to leave for class.

Indiana blinked her dry eyes a few times trying to focus on the paper in front of her. Her eyes flashed to the person's paper beside her. She copied the answers before turning her paper in and exiting the class.

Indiana blinked a few times before getting into Steve's car. "Hi." She smiled.

"Hey. How was the pep rally?"

Indiana gave him a blank stare as an answer. Steve furrowed his eyebrows.

"Are you stoned?" Steve stared at the girl whose eyes were glossed over.

"No." Indiana snorts.

"Are you sure?" He looked unconvinced.

"Positive."  Steve turned his head away from the girl and began driving. Indiana and Steve got out of the car. Indiana checked the mailbox where a letter waited.

Indiana smiled, while grabbing it and taking off inside. She ripped open the letter and began reading it.

Indiana,

I miss you so much. I haven't told anyone this, a few kids from school have not been kind to me. Her name is Angela. She made me drop my visual aid that was about dad. I am very upset. Indiana, I want to visit and stay with you over the winter break or summer. Joyce said it was okay with her if you were okay with it. Mike is visiting in three days. I am so excited to see him it is hard to breathe.

Will is doing good. He's made some friends and has been my best friend. Jonathan has been smoking smelly plants in his room that make the house smell weird. A new friend named Argyle has a pizza van we drive in all the time. It is cool. Joyce still has her home job and loves it. Will is painting something but won't show me. It is weird.
