As Lin Xingzhu unlocked the door and pushed it open, Qiao Ziqin was already preparing to remove Bai Xiying's clothing.

The sound of the door opening suddenly jolted the nearly frantic woman awake. Her back stiffened for a moment, then she hurriedly quickened her movements without a care.

She must get Bai Xiying!

Lin Xingzhu looked at Bai Xiying, who lay unconscious on the large bed, her throat tightening as her fingers crackled at her side. "Qiao, Ziqin."

Lin Xingzhu's face was as cold as ice. She rushed over, creating a gust of wind, and before Qiao Ziqin could react, she fiercely grabbed her by the neck and dragged her down from the bed.

"Lin, Lin Xingzhu..." Qiao Ziqin's face turned red, her breath labored, yet her eyes burned with rage.

Lin Xingzhu lowered her gaze, an undeniable anger flickering in her eyes, her voice chilling. "I didn't expect you to be so eager to act like a beast."

"Time and again..."

"If you want to be a beast so badly, I'll help you. Better to be reborn as a beast in your next life."

Lin Xingzhu pulled out a black rope from beside the bed, raised her foot to press against Qiao Ziqin's abdomen, and while she was still dazed, quickly wrapped the rope around Qiao Ziqin's neck.

She clenched her jaw, her arms straining as she tightened the rope.

"Lin, Lin..." Qiao Ziqin's vision began to blur, the lack of oxygen causing her to almost forget the pain in her neck. The madness and brutality that had taken over her rationality slowly faded, replaced by the instinct to survive as she struggled frantically.

But Lin Xingzhu's strength was astonishing. Qiao Ziqin felt as powerless as a lamb, on the verge of suffocating to death.

The rope around her neck continued to constrict, and Qiao Ziqin's eyes rolled back, her vision fading as her struggles grew weaker.

Just when she thought she wouldn't survive, that suffocating sensation suddenly vanished.

Lin Xingzhu released her grip, and Qiao Ziqin immediately slumped to the ground like a dead dog, the red marks on her neck horrifying to behold.

Mu Muqing looked on in shock, unable to believe that Lin Xingzhu would dare to kill in public.

Lin Xingzhu stepped around Qiao Ziqin's body and glanced at Mu Muqing, her eyes seemingly reading her thoughts in an instant, coolly stating, "She's not dead."

Only then did Mu Muqing breathe a sigh of relief.
