Lin Xingzhu's eyes flickered as she opened her mouth: "...What a coincidence."

As her words fell, she clenched her fist against her lips and lightly cleared her throat.

Bai Xiying wiped the corners of her eyes, the faint blush that had just risen disappearing as she did so.

"What a coincidence," she stifled a laugh.

Seeing this, Lin Xingzhu quickly shot a glare at the clueless man.

At that moment, Xie Yunya, who had been hidden behind the two, wheeled herself forward with surprise, "Xiying, you're here too?"

Since their last farewell at the hospital, she hadn't seen Bai Xiying for quite some time.

So, encountering her here unexpectedly filled Xie Yunya with delight.

Lin Xingzhu noticed the warm reunion between the two and her lips subtly curved into a slight smile.

Just then, the door to the private room behind Bai Xiying was suddenly pushed open, and Mu Muqing walked out with an unhappy expression.

Earlier in the room, she had tried to get closer to Bai Xiying, but who would have thought that Bai Xiying would find an excuse to slip away so quickly.

Lin Xingzhu's brow furrowed momentarily as she recalled the fleeting blush on Bai Xiying's face earlier.

Seeing Mu Muqing come out, Bai Xiying paused for a moment, noticing her previously unfavorable expression suddenly vanish. She asked in confusion, "What's this?"

Hearing the voice, Bai Xiying stepped forward a couple of paces, naturally closing the distance to Lin Xingzhu, as if it were a reflex.

Then she put away her smile, lowering her eyes, and said, "President Mu, this is my senior sister."

Xie Yunya looked up, glanced at Mu Muqing, realizing she didn't know her, and offered a friendly smile, nodding in acknowledgment.

Mu Muqing subtly surveyed the three of them and felt increasingly dissatisfied.

Why was Bai Xiying always surrounded by admirers?

Taking advantage of the moment, Lin Xingzhu moved closer to Bai Xiying and whispered, "Did something happen just now?"

Bai Xiying looked at her in surprise, not expecting Lin Xingzhu to be so perceptive.

But there was nothing to hide, so she nodded, "It's nothing really, just that President Mu was too close for comfort, so I found an excuse to step out for some air."

Fearing Lin Xingzhu might worry, she added, "It's not a big deal."

Since there were others present, Lin Xingzhu didn't ask further. Seeing that Bai Xiying seemed fine, she finally relaxed.

In a KTV setting, especially with Mu Muqing present and considering Bai Xiying's background, it was hard not to worry about potential complications.

Meanwhile, the two who had greeted each other were strangers, and naturally had little to say.

Mu Muqing looked at Bai Xiying, who had somehow positioned herself next to Lin Xingzhu, feeling a surge of irritation. "Xiying, everyone is still waiting inside. Shall we go back in together?"
