When Lin Xingzhu finally realized something was off, two days had already passed.
During these two days, Bai Xiying had been particularly clingy, but not in the way she used to be. It was a black leather collar with a silver chain and a bell attached. The long chain had a clasp at the end, looking like it had some kind of deeper meaning.
Bai Xiying fiddled with the chain and bell, making the cold metallic sound as they clinked together.
Lin Xingzhu was quietly examining the collar.
Meanwhile, Bai Xiying lowered her gaze to the long silver chain and the clasp, and for a moment, something like longing flickered in her eyes. But she quickly suppressed it, furrowing her brows as she stared at the long chain. "It's too long. It should be removed."
It might interfere with Lin Xingzhu doing things.
And the bell would make noise, distracting her, so that would need to go as well.
