After a night of heavy drinking, Lin Xingzhu woke up with no memory of last night's drunken antics, her dreams reduced to nothing but a delicious crab with wildly flailing claws, still dancing despite being cooked.

She sat in the dining room and called out to Jiang Yeya, who had just emerged from the bedroom. "Did I embarrass myself last night when I was drunk?"

Lin Xingzhu was aware of her own drinking habits; she had a decent tolerance and usually didn't get drunk easily. However, once she did, she often blanked out and couldn't remember anything.

Even though past experiences told her that she generally handled alcohol well and wouldn't do anything ridiculous like dancing on tables, the thought of the other person present last night made her a bit anxious.

What if?

Jiang Yeya stared at her with wide eyes, looking a bit dazed. "I don't know, I guess not?"

Lin Xingzhu raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean, 'I guess'? You didn't even drink. Weren't you the one who brought me back?"

Jiang Yeya looked a bit embarrassed.

She ruffled her hair, which was a mess after sleeping, and muttered, "Yesterday, Sister Xiying helped you down. I don't know why I was so tired; I just went to help Sister Xiying grab something and then fell asleep."

As she spoke, Jiang Yeya touched her face and immediately frowned—she still hadn't removed her makeup!

She dashed into the bathroom, calling out before shutting the door, "Don't worry! You just slept after getting drunk! You're a good sleeper and won't embarrass yourself in front of Sister Xiying!"

Lin Xingzhu: "..."

Feeling exposed, she averted her gaze and continued eating breakfast.

By the time Jiang Yeya finally emerged from the bathroom, Lin Xingzhu had already finished her own meal.

She sent a message to Bai Xiying but hadn't received a reply, likely because Bai Xiying was still asleep.

Thinking about how Bai Xiying had also drunk quite a bit last night, Lin Xingzhu rubbed her still-dizzy temples.

She hadn't expected Bai Xiying to be such a heavy drinker.

Next to her, she heard some rustling. Lin Xingzhu raised an eyebrow to see Jiang Yeya, backpack in tow, clearly getting ready to leave.

"What are you up to?"

Jiang Yeya smiled sweetly. "I'm meeting a friend. We're going out to have some fun today."

"Friend?" Lin Xingzhu frowned. "Do you even know anyone here?"

"Actually, we were online friends before, but we met in S City and hung out together, so now we're friends. I planned to meet her while I'm here," Jiang Yeya explained.
