CHAPTER 35.3

Elieazer's POV
Before the event

"Are you insane?! Anong pumasok sa utak mo at pinakasalan mo si Guinevere privately?!" Vera angrily barged in my office. "Ano yan? pinakitaan ka lang ng katawan nafall ka na?" She irritatingly said making me stopped from what I am doing.

"What did you just say?" I coldly said, I even stood up from my swivel chair and faced her. "Ulitin mo ulit sinabi mo" I added.

"Pinakitaan ka lang ng ka—-" she wasn't able to finish her sentence because I suddenly strangle her. "Eli—- c-can't breathe!" she tried to slap the hand I used to strangle her but I just pinned her more to the wall.

"How dare you say that to my wife?" I asked her coldly. She was running out of breathe "You think you already know everything?" I'm livid.

I let go of my grip on her neck, Vera was coughing hardly after what I did to her.

"You'll regret this Elieazer!" she said before she stormed out of my office.

My head ached after that, so I decided to take a rest for a little bit.

The 10th year anniversary of the Quinn's group is stressing me out, there are a lot of preparations. I assigned the planning department but it seems like they can't even give me a satisfying idea for the event.

"AGAIN" I said to the team after they showed some proposals in front of me. This event is very important that's why I had to make sure the event is well organized.

I went home after a tiring day, my wife took care of me, she even made sure I won't do anything anymore but just completely rest.

"Nilalagnat ka hubby, okay ka lang?" She worriedly asked as she handed me some medicine and water.

I stared at my wife. Everything she does is genuine and I can't help but to feel guilty. Guilty, because my ulterior motive towards her at first was to take revenge for killing Guineth. I hope she can forgive me, if I tell her the truth.

"You should sleep, sige na. You shouldn't go to work tomorrow, magpahinga ka" I heard her, but my mind is still wandering around.

She fixed my blanket and then I felt her kiss my forehead, after that she switched off the lights and lay down beside me.

I hugged my wife tightly as she slept soundly in my arms. I kept whispering how sorry I am for bringing her in this kind of situation. I will make it up to her, I promise.

"Good morning! hubby, breakfast ka na" My wife said as I woke up.

I looked at the time and it's 8:30 in the morning, I decided not to go to work because my wife didn't let me go. Gusto ko din magpahinga, my head has been aching a lot these past days and I decided to have it checked later on.

"How are you feeling?" My wife lovingly asked after she placed some food on the bedside table.

I hold her hand and gently pulled her towards me making her sit on my lap.

"Hui! What's the matter? may masakit ba sayo?" She again, worriedly asked me.

I hugged her tightly, as I rested my head on the hollow of her neck. Right now, I just want to hug her, even if it means we're like this the whole day.

"I just want to hug you" I said.

I felt her arms encircled to mine, as she stares at me.

She may looked like Guineth, but her eyes is different, her eyes are filled with love and concern.
