Narrator

"You're oddly better at this than I expected," Minji scoffed at The Doctor.

Minji couldn't trust leaving Y/n alone with Hanni for too long. So, she cut her business trip short.

"Well, I did go to school for this," Y/n exhaled as they replaced Hanni's IV drip.

- Minji POV -

Y/n was oddly good at taking care of Hanni. So much so that I got the sense that they hadn't forgotten how much they cared about her inside VRU.

The Doctor was so gentle and caring...

That it could almost convince anyone that Y/n wasn't out to get Hanni.

"Hey Miyawaki," The Doctor suddenly got on the phone.

"Can you temporarily lift the dosage ban on opioids? I've hit my cap for the week and I can't administer another dosage," Y/n said over the phone.

"Wait- What?!" I questioned when I overheard the conversation.

"Thanks," Y/n hung up the phone.

"You said opioids aren't good for patients like Hanni!" I raised my voice in anger.

"They're not," The Doctor coldly answered.

"However, Ms. Pham is currently in too much pain for me to properly inspect her body. I don't want her crying too much or flinching when I need her to stay still. Plus, it's a very small dosage," Y/n didn't even bother looking at me.

I took a deep breath and exhaled deeply.

*INCOMING MESSAGE*

My VRU suddenly announced that I had received a message from Hanni.

"It's okay. The meds help it hurt less."

The message read.

I sighed and sat on the sofa to watch The Doctor.

I watched as Y/n gently sat Hanni up and began to bend every joint gently. It started at her fingers and continued to her elbows.

"Uurrghhmm," Hanni sounded like she was in pain.

A few minutes of joint movements went by and Y/n turned to look a me with an odd expression on their face.

"Umm, I have to do a visual assessment of Miss Pham's entire body. Since you're back, do you want to do it? I can give you the charts to fill out," The Doctor looked uncomfortable.

"What do you mean?" I was a little confused.

"Ms. Pham needs a visual assessment. She needs to be placed in a hospital gown and checked for any rashes, allergies, and other things," The Doctor explained.

I raised an eyebrow when I realized what Y/n was saying.

"Well...," I cleared my throat a bit flustered.

"I can place her into the gown and you can do the assessment. I'm not medically trained to look for rashes and stuff," I answered.

"Alright," Y/n exhaled.

"I'll be going into VRU for a second to get some consent forms signed," The Doctor said before fully logging into VRU.

- Hanni POV -

"I don't want Minji helping in anything. I feel ashamed with her around," I mumbled when The Doctor logged back in.
