Chapter 75: The Airborne Idiots and the Unfaithful Jet

"See, an airplane is a craft," Namjoon’s voice came through the phone calmly, as if explaining the workings of a simple toy.

Jackson's eye twitched in frustration. "Why are you starting from scratch? Just tell me how to tackle this! I didn’t sign up for an exam!"

Namjoon cleared his throat, continuing with the same instructional tone. "An airplane is defined as a powered flying vehicle with fixed wings and a weight greater than that of the air it displaces. It falls under various categories such as commercial, cargo, private, and military aircraft. Now, the basics of—"

Jackson leaned closer to the phone, his patience wearing thin. "For heaven’s sake, just tell me how to fly this thing now!"

Namjoon sighed, finally moving forward. "Okay, okay, can you see a red button to the side of the control panel?"

Jackson squinted. "Yeah, yeah, I see it."

Before Namjoon could get another word out, Jungkook’s curious hand moved faster than his thoughts, and he pressed the button.

"Don't even think about touching that button!" Namjoon shouted, his voice rising in alarm.

Jackson's head whipped around to face Jungkook, horror filling his eyes. "You… You pressed it already?!"

Jungkook blinked innocently. "Oops."

Suddenly, alarms started blaring, and the cockpit’s screens flashed erratically. As Jackson struggled to process the impending doom, Taehyung—ever the chaotic alien—was rummaging through the back of the plane. Moments later, he triumphantly emerged with a parachute bag.

Jackson, now completely exasperated, yelled into the phone, "Namjoon, I swear, when I come to the university, I’m going to kill you! And prepare a room for all three of us because we’re going to need it!"

Namjoon’s frantic voice echoed through the speaker, but Jackson had no time for further instructions. The three of them, now in full survival mode, huddled together and, in some bizarre display of brotherly unity, managed to jump out of the crashing plane using a single parachute.

The jet, by some miracle—or perhaps divine intervention—crashed harmlessly in a deserted area, far from any living soul. But the three airborne idiots weren't in the clear just yet. Dangling mid-air, the three of them struggled to control the parachute, with Jackson in the middle holding onto both Jungkook and Taehyung for dear life.

Suddenly, as if the universe wasn’t done playing jokes on them, the wind picked up, carrying them in a wild, uncontrollable gust. Their trajectory shifted, and before they could adjust, they crashed through the open window of a house.

The three of them tumbled inside, colliding awkwardly with the floor, and when they looked up, their eyes widened in sheer terror. In front of them, a naked couple, clearly in the middle of a very private moment, screamed in shock.

Jackson immediately covered Tae and Jungkook’s eyes with his hands. Simultaneously, Tae and Jungkook reached out and covered Jackson’s eyes.

"Don’t look!" Jackson yelled.

"We’re not looking!" Tae and Jungkook shouted back, hands firmly over Jackson's eyes.

All three screamed, stumbling and scrambling their way out of the house as quickly as possible.

Once outside, panting and wide-eyed, they barely had a moment to catch their breath when they saw Mr. Kim standing a few feet away, looking perplexed.

He stared at the three of them, raising a brow. "You wouldn’t happen to know where my airplane is, would you? I could’ve sworn I parked it nearby, but now it’s missing."

Jungkook, desperate and thinking fast, blurted out, "Actually, Dad, these airplanes… They’re very disloyal! You leave them alone for too long, and they just… fly off by themselves. Crazy, right? Anyway, we’ve got to head to the university, let’s go!"

Mr. Kim looked at them suspiciously, but before he could ask any more questions, they hurried off, dragging him along.

Meanwhile, at the university, Namjoon and Yoongi stood in front of the newly purchased large apartment complex, which was much bigger than the small apartment they had previously lived in. Namjoon rubbed the back of his neck, staring at the building that could comfortably house their chaotic family.

“Well,” Yoongi said, shaking his head, “this ought to be enough space for all five of those idiots.”

Namjoon sighed, but a smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. “I hope they’re ready for what’s coming next because university life is about to get even crazier.”
