Chapter 76: The Corridor Chaos and the Unforeseen Betrayal

The moment Jackson, Jungkook, and Taehyung arrived at their new apartment, they found themselves standing in the corridor, with neighbors coming and going, casting curious glances their way. Jackson, without any filter or hesitation, stormed into the open area, his voice booming as he shouted, "Kim Namjoon, I swear to God, your fun 148 IQ is of no use when you can’t help your only best friend in his time of need!"

Jungkook and Taehyung exchanged amused glances as Jackson continued, gesturing wildly. "What did I ever do to deserve this? Do you have any idea what I went through today? You know how I feel about seafood! I had crab once in my life—once—because I know how much you love crabs and want them to live, but today you put me through hell for that one crab......!"

Just as Jackson was about to continue his tirade, a hot girl walked by, and Jackson’s attention was instantly diverted. Leaving behind the anger he had for Namjoon, his eyes followed the girl. She was clearly in a hurry, but Jackson, ever the flirt, couldn’t resist.

As the girl walked closer, her speed increased, and before Jackson could step aside, they both collided awkwardly. The girl, flustered and with a hurried voice, mumbled, “Sir, please move aside, I have to go. I hate being late.”

Jackson, flashing his signature grin, replied smoothly, “Don’t worry, dear. From now on, I’ll never be late in my life if it means I get to see you.”

The girl glanced at him, a mixture of confusion and irritation on her face, clearly thinking Jackson was a bit odd. Without further ado, she dashed off, leaving Jackson staring after her dreamily.

Namjoon, who had witnessed the entire scene, groaned inwardly, his face flushing with embarrassment. Not wanting to be associated with Jackson’s antics, he quickly ducked inside the apartment.

Meanwhile, Yoongi, standing near the door, took in the sight of the three newcomers. His eyes swept over the scene, his expression unreadable. This was his first time meeting Jackson, Jungkook, and Taehyung in person, and from the looks of things, he wasn’t exactly thrilled about it. The three of them screamed chaos, and Yoongi, the eternal guardian of his peace and quiet, could already feel his sleep slipping away.

He muttered a quiet prayer, glancing at the heavens. “God, help me. These idiots are far from peace.”
