Chapter 47: The Unexpected proposal

Jin,after talking to hobi, decided to make Namjoon a cup of coffee, knowing how he liked it—black and without sugar. As he brewed the coffee, he thought about how much he loved Namjoon and wanted to be by his side always.

Once the coffee was ready, Jin quietly made his way to the library. The soft jingle of his bracelet, a gift from Namjoon, announced his arrival. Namjoon looked up from his book, his eyes lighting up at the sight of Jin.

“Here you go,” Jin said, placing the steaming cup on the table.

Before Jin could retreat, Namjoon pulled him onto his lap, causing Jin to flinch at the unexpected movement. “How about we get married?” Namjoon asked, his tone serious yet playful. “It’s impossible for me to live in this mansion without you. I want you as a part of my room.”

Jin’s face flushed at the suggestion, his heart racing. He nodded slowly, but with a mischievous glint in his eye, he added, “But I have a condition.”

“Anything, my queen,” Namjoon replied, leaning in closer, intrigued.

“I read a story recently,” Jin began, biting his lip to suppress a grin. “You’re a mafia king, right? I’ve heard that mafia kings often force their lovers to marry them. I want our marriage to look like that—a very forced marriage.”

Namjoon stared at Jin, bewildered. “What kind of books are you reading these days?” he chuckled, thoroughly entertained.

“Otherwise, I’m not getting married,” Jin declared, crossing his arms stubbornly.

“Okay, okay, I’ll make it happen. Don’t worry,” Namjoon said, laughing along with Jin.

Unable to resist, Namjoon leaned in to kiss Jin, but Jin placed a hand on Namjoon’s lips, halting him. “No! You’ve already kissed me once before marriage, and Grandma grounded me for it! I don’t want to break the rules again, even if she isn’t here!”

Namjoon rolled his eyes, exasperated but amused. “Damn your grandma for being the villain in our love story,” he muttered, but ultimately decided to respect Jin’s wishes for now.

With a soft kiss on Jin's forehead, he watched as Jin scampered off to join J-Hope, who was busy planting flowers in the garden. Their laughter echoed throughout the mansion.

The next day, Namjoon found himself sitting in front of Yoongi at his company. He recounted everything that had happened, including Jin’s peculiar condition for their marriage.

Yoongi burst into laughter, clearly amused by his younger brother's predicament. “Namjoon, he’s a perfect match for you!” he teased.

“Rather than laughing at me, give me some advice,” Namjoon replied, his tone serious.

After a moment of contemplation, Yoongi suggested a plan. “You can pull off the forced marriage act. Just make sure you add your own flair. Show everyone that this is exactly what you both want.”

Grateful for the advice, Namjoon returned home, unable to contain his excitement. He gathered his parents and declared, “I’m getting married tomorrow, no matter what!”

Mr. and Mrs. Kim exchanged glances, already familiar with their son’s stubbornness, and agreed to the sudden plan.

As the day drew to a close, the anticipation for the next day filled the air with joy and laughter, promising an event that would forever change the lives of the Kims. Little did they know, the chaos and excitement awaiting them would not just bring laughter but also a deeper bond within their family.

Now, as everyone prepared for the unexpected marriage, the stage was set for a day filled with love, laughter, and the quirks of the Kim family. What new adventures and surprises awaited them the following day? Only time would tell.
