Flashback continues...

Nithya turned to see who it was, and the ground slipped beneath her when she saw her uncle-Adhitya's father-on his bike. Not knowing how to respond, she looked at him dumbfounded. Noticing her silence, he focused on the letter in her hand. When he turned his attention to it, she quickly hid it behind her. He bent toward her, pulled her arm forward by holding her elbow, and grabbed the letter from her.

She was scared that Adhitya would get angry for being caught by his father and began to cry silently. Adhitya watched all of this from behind a tree, thinking it was over for him. He knew his family would never accept their love due to the social differences, especially the caste issue. But perhaps after proving himself successful, they might accept it. Meanwhile, Swetha would be going to college, pursuing a career that could elevate her family financially.

Adhitya's father read the letter, having suspected something was amiss given his son's recent behavior. He folded the letter with an emotionless expression, tucked it into his shirt pocket, and started his bike. "Get on the bike," he said. The frightened girl quietly complied. As they passed, Nithya caught a glimpse of Adhitya behind the tree, his anger simmering.

Nithya feared she would be severely punished for her actions when she got home. To her surprise, no one asked her anything and acted as if nothing had happened. Adhitya returned home that day expecting his parents and grandparents to scold him and possibly punish him, but nothing happened, everyone was normal. However, he was not allowed to go out. He didn't resist, knowing the reason behind it.

After that day, Nithya avoided being in Adhitya's presence. Nithya almost forgot the incident and returned to her routine. But Adhitya was heartbroken, missing his love. He knew that any impulsive actions would only aggravate the situation, so he focused on his career as his priority.

One month passed, and Adhitya's exam results were announced. He scored well but was in a dilemma about which college to join. He discussed his options with his brother, who offered suggestions.

A few days later, during dinner, Adhitya's father informed everyone that Adhitya would be joining college in London along with his brother, Prem, and that he had taken care of everything. Adhitya was utterly shocked by the news; he hadn't expected his father to make such a decision. Now he understood why no one had asked him anything about the letter incident. His father had been working behind his back, and Adhitya felt anxious about Swetha's safety.

After dinner, everyone left for their rooms. Adhitya's mother was busy in the kitchen. He knocked on his parents' door and entered. His father looked up from some files. "What do you want?" he asked sternly.

"I don't want to go to London; I want to study here," Adhitya replied.

"Why elope with that beggar? If you want her to be safe, just do as I say, or I'll make sure you regret this decision for the rest of your life." Adhitya felt a wave of fear wash over him as he exited the room, tears flowing uncontrollably.

Deep down, he somehow convinced himself that Nithya was the reason for this situation, he wanted someone to blame. He didn't realize that everything stemmed from his own impatience and lack of maturity in handling things.

With a heavy heart, he left the country, harboring resentment toward his father. He didn't speak to his father throughout his time in London. He tried to contact his friends to casually inquire about Swetha's father, knowing that asking about her directly could damage her reputation. He learned that they had left the village a few months after he went to London. Heartbroken by this news, he struggled to distract himself and immersed himself in his studies.

Prem and Adhitya stayed in the same apartment. Prem noticed the change in Adhitya's demeanor. When he asked about it, Adhitya waved him off, saying, "I miss our family and village." Prem hoped that with time, Adhitya would adjust, but he did not.
