Aditya went straight home after the function. Initially, he had planned to visit Nithya, but now he felt mentally unprepared, so he asked the driver to take him home instead. Once he arrived, he skipped dinner and headed directly to his room. His mother assumed he had eaten at the function and didn't want to disturb him, thinking he was tired.
As soon as he entered his room, he took a shower and sobbed, reflecting on how Swetha, a girl younger than him, had behaved maturely and moved on. Meanwhile, he felt that he, being older than both Swetha and Nithya, had acted like a fool and ruined his own life. In that moment, he considered himself the biggest fool in the world.
After his shower, he changed into his nightwear and flopped onto the bed, staring at the ceiling. Memories of Swetha with her family flashed before him. He realized that if he hadn't clung to the past, he could have been happily with his own family. But now he understood that Nithya deserved better, she deserved to be happy. It was clear to him that it was time to make a decision about his marital life.

The next day, Nithya woke up feeling pain, but she dismissed it as false labor since she still had time until her due date. However, as time passed, the pain intensified and became unbearable. Sri noticed her discomfort and immediately called Adhitya, then Prem. Prem mentioned that he was in the middle of some important work but would leave as soon as he could.
After receiving the call, Adhitya set aside everything and rushed to Nithya's house. He carefully carried her to the car, placing her in the back seat while Sri sat beside her to support her. Diya occupied the passenger seat, and Adhitya drove off to the hospital, glancing at Nithya through the rearview mirror as he drove.

Nithya was taken to the delivery room, and her screams echoed throughout the floor. She was in immense pain, while Adhitya paced back and forth anxiously. Sri tried to comfort him, saying, "Adhi, don't worry, she'll deliver the baby safely. Just calm down." But Adhitya was restless, his heart racing as fear crept in that something might happen to her.
His family arrived shortly after, waiting anxiously outside with him. Just then, a nurse came out. Adhitya rushed toward her and asked, "Nurse, how's my wife? Is she alright? I want to see her now, please let me in."
"Sir, everything is going fine, but if you want to be inside with your wife, you'll need the doctor's consent," she replied before leaving. After completing the necessary formalities, Adhitya was cleansed and put on a scrub suit, then entered the delivery room.
Inside, Adhitya found Nithya screaming in pain. Guilt washed over him as he realized he was the reason for her suffering. He stood back, knowing she likely didn't want him near her. Her cries and struggles tore at him, he desperately wanted to hold her hand, comfort her, and whisper soothing words, but he felt unworthy. He had broken her trust, making her believe he was unworthy of her love.
After hours of struggling, giving her last ounce of energy and strength, she finally pushed the baby out and fell unconscious from exhaustion. The baby's cry resonated through the ward, and tears of joy filled Adhitya's eyes. Everyone outside rejoiced at the sound of the baby's cry. The doctor called for Adhitya to cut the umbilical cord.
Adhitya approached Nithya slowly. Seeing her unconscious, he asked the doctor worriedly, "Doctor, what happened to her? Why isn't she awake?"
"Don't worry, it's just because she's exhausted. She will be alright in a little while," the doctor assured him. He took the instrument from the nurse and cut the cord as instructed. The doctor then announced that it was a boy, and Adhitya felt a surge of happiness as he gazed at the little man. The baby was taken to the neonatal care unit for a cleanup, and Adhitya left the room.
As he exited, he wiped tears from his eyes. His family surrounded him with questioning looks. Adhitya informed them it was a boy, and everyone erupted in joy. His grandmother offered a prayer for the safety of both mother and baby.
The nurse came out holding the baby and handed him to Adhitya. He took the baby gently, scared he might hurt him. Guilt washed over him as he looked at his child, he cursed himself for calling this blessing a mistake and for neglecting him. Tears streamed uncontrollably down his face as everyone surrounded him, gazing at the baby with awe.
Diya struggled to see the baby among the adults. Noticing her effort, Adhitya bent down to her level and showed her his son. "See, it's your brother! Say hi to him," Sri encouraged Diya.
"Hi!" Diya exclaimed, her excitement shining through as she realized she had a baby brother to play with. Just then, the nurse took the baby back inside for a checkup.
Adhitya looked at them silently, knowing they likely wouldn't be happy with the decision he had made, so he decided to keep that information to himself.

After Nithya was cleaned up, she was shifted to the ward while the baby remained in neonatal care. As she regained consciousness, she eagerly awaited news of her child. Everyone entered the room, and her grandmother approached, kissing her gently on the forehead. Sri came closer, cradling her face in her hands. "You are a strong girl, Nithya. Do you want to see your boy?" Nithya nodded with a smile, excitement shining in her eyes.
Adhitya stood in the corner of the room, hesitant to approach her. Just then, the nurse entered, cradling the baby in her arms. Nithya's heart raced at the sight of the nurse holding her child. The nine months of waiting were finally coming to an end, she was about to hold her baby in her arms—the moment she had dreamed of for so long.
