We walked along the streets shoulder to shoulder. We weren't talking that much, but we felt at ease in each other's company. He talked about how excited he was to spend time with me, and I told him I felt the same way. After a few more minutes of walking, we finally arrived at a cafe. It looked like any ordinary cafe from the outside, but after stepping foot inside I realized it was far more special than the rest I went to.

"Cats? They have cats here." I instinctively sat down to pet the cat that was happily rubbing its head on my leg. It was white and fluffy. I was so engrossed in admiring its beauty that Mingyu had to stoop down as well to get my attention.

"Glad you like it."

"They're adorable for sure. Look how friendly they are!" I held the cat in my arms and started cradling it like a baby.

I looked up to see Mingyu grinning on his phone.

"Did you just take a photo of me?"

"I can't help it, you look like you're having so much fun. Had to take one for keeps."

"Jeez you should've just said so. Take another one for me. I want to send this to my mom."

The cat was so well behaved that it made me want to just stuff it in a bag and take it home. I never knew cats could be this nice to people. I always thought they were just sassy and snobbish.

"There. I'll send it to you. How about we order now."

"Okay, Just order whatever for me. I'll sit right over there by the window."

I walked towards the window where more cats were gathered. It looked like pure heaven to me. I let go of the cat that I was holding all this time and sat at the table. One cat immediately sat in front of me and started purring.

"Goodness, what are these things so adorable for?"

Before I knew it, Mingyu came back and joined me at the table.

"I'm glad that you're enjoying it here, but I feel like I'm at a loss."

"What do you mean?"

"It looks like your more interested in the cats than me." he pouted and started petting the cat that was on the table. Is he trying to act cute? Then again he doesn't really have to try that hard to look like it.

"You brought me here, might as well enjoy it don't you think?"

"To think I'd get jealous over cats."

"Shut up, people will hear you."

He laughed and carried the cat towards him. He looked like he's used to this. The cat was comfortable in his embrace. Like a child being cradled by their own mom.

"Here's your order."

"Thank you. Here, I ordered this for you." He pushed a plate of tiramisu towards me and gave me a smile.

"It's their best seller. Try it." He looked at me in anticipation as I sliced it and raised it to my mouth.

"Aren't you gonna eat?" He was just staring at me while I was trying to have my first bite.

"Try it first, I wanna know what you think."

I finally ate it. "Mmmmm that's really good. I can see why this is their best seller."

He giggled and took his phone to take another photo of me.

"You're acting too much like an obsessive fan at this rate."

"Well you're not wrong about that."

We ate while talking about mediocre things. I learned that he likes sports. He loves visiting parks and is very fond of animals. While we ate we continued petting the cats that came by our table. We both talked and ate and by the time we finished it was dark outside already.

"Is there anything else you planned for today?"

We stepped out and breathe in the cool evening breeze.

"I wanted us to watch a movie."

"Hmm it's been awhile since I went to the movies. Sure then."

We turned towards the plaza and started walking straight to the theater. He already booked the tickets so all we had to do really was buy some snacks and just go in.

"Were the chairs here always this big? I don't remember them being this few as well."

The room was oddly smaller than I remembered and the chairs seemed rather wide.

"Ahhhh~ I guess it really has been awhile since you watched a movie in the theaters." he gave me a rather suspicious smile and led me to where we were going to sit.

"This chair looks like it could fit two people. Oohh~~ there's even blankets and pillows how amazing is that?!"

He sat down and gestured for me to sit down as well. I was so focused on the chair itself that I didn't even realize that everyone in this room was in pairs.

"Isn't this place a bit weird? Why are we being seated like this?"

He let out a small laugh and took the blanket and spread it to cover me. I looked at him surprised, waiting for some explanation as to why everything felt a bit off. He leaned in towards my ear and whispered something that sent chills to my bones and made me blush like crazy.

"It's called a couple seat. Everyone here is basically dating and maybe aren't just here for the movie."

I immediately distanced myself from him and whacked him.

"The heck are you crazy?! Why did you bring me here?"

"Didn't you say we were seeing each other?"

"Yeah we are. But damn this is too embarrassing. Didn't even know such a place existed."

I was frantic. It felt like everyone was staring at us, for being the only two dudes together.

"You don't have to be shy, it's gonna get dark soon anyways."

He closed the distance between us and placed his arm around my waist while shamelessly leaning his entire weight on me.

"The hell are you doing? Get off you're heavy."

He just proceeded to cuddle his face on my neck and started wrapping his other arm around me. At that moment I just wanted to walk out of the room and hide. This man has no sense of shame. It's quite impressive at this point really.

"Are you trying to get your ass kicked?"

"It's cold here, I need some heat."

"That's what the blankets are for you idiot."

"I'd rather cuddle with you like this though?" he was pouting again. The heck is with this shameless behavior?

In the middle of our bickering the lights went out....

I'm screwed.
