"Mingyu, you really out done yourself. Look at this room."

I didn't try to hide my excitement. How could I? I was genuinely thrilled with what I was seeing. Getting the chance to take a vacation and stay in a place like this was something I truly needed to appreciate.

"So glad you like it. They even have a jacuzzi here."

"Woah, that's pretty fancy."

"I know. Can't wait for us to take a dip later."

A chill ran down my spine. He said it so innocently that I couldn't bring myself to scold him for it. I glanced at his face and saw him admiring the jacuzzi, casually commenting on how the tiles perfectly complemented the rest of the bathroom.

I felt almost guilty for thinking such thoughts when he said that. He didn't even say we were going in together. Why was I suddenly getting all flustered?

"Wonwoo, are you okay?"

"Hmm yeah. Just a bit tired. I think I might have to turn in now."

"Not up for some dinner?"

"Not really hungry."

I walked out of the bathroom and just realized that there is only one bed in this room. Although we are dating, I still can't help but feel wary of him, especially after those times he jumped me.

"Why am I not surprised?"

"I wanted us to cuddle ok?" he sat himself down on the edge of the bed and patted the soft mattress, motioning for me to come sit with him.

"It's fine. Just don't go overboard with the 'cuddling' " I shot him a look that warned him that if ever did more than what he promised, I may have to actually break his arm for real this time.

"Noted."

After taking quick, separate showers, we finally laid down in bed. The soft, cloud-like mattress was enough to lull me into a deep sleep, but the giant lying next to me had no intention of sleeping just yet...

"Wonwoo?"

"What?" the gentle hum of the air conditioner and the comforting warmth of the soft blanket wrapped around me, coaxing me into a deep, peaceful sleep.

"Are you really just going to sleep?"

"What else am I supposed to do? Also, aren't you tired from driving? You should sleep."

"How can I, when you're here?" that whining voice of his, coming from his muscular build, made me chuckle a bit. I still can't seem to get used to this stark contrast.

"Want me to book another room?"

"You know that's not what I mean." He moves closer to my side and nuzzles his face into my neck. His warm breath tickles my cold skin with every puff of air he exhales.

"Are you gonna sleep this close to me?"

"I mean, if I were being honest, I didn't even want us to sleep yet." I felt the tip of his nose trace soft lines on my neck. To say I didn't like it would be an utter lie, but goodness, I was just too tired from the trip to move anymore from the position I was lying in.

"Mingyu, I'm beat. I envy you for still having the energy, really."

"Hmph, fine. Let's go to sleep. See you tomorrow Wonwoo."

"What a sap really." I wrapped an arm around him and kissed his forehead goodnight.

"See you tomorrow Mingyu."

I woke up feeling something heavy wrapping around me. My eyes fought against the glaring sunlight that peeked through the curtains of our room. When I finally managed to see clearly, I looked down at myself, grinning, and saw Mingyu hugging me like a koala on a tree.
