The streets of Melbourne stretched out before them, bathed in the golden glow of streetlights and neon signs. The air was crisp, carrying the distant hum of the city, but inside the car, everything felt warm and intimate.

Minji sat behind the wheel, both hands gripping it firmly—maybe a little too firmly—while Hanni lounged comfortably in the passenger seat, her bare feet propped up on the dashboard. The contrast between them was almost comical: Minji was hyper-focused, carefully making each turn, while Hanni was completely at ease, casually filming her with her camera.

"You're really holding onto that wheel for dear life," Hanni teased, zooming in on Minji's concentrated expression.

Minji exhaled, finally loosening her grip. "I'm driving your dad's car in your city. I'm not trying to die today."

Hanni laughed, lowering the camera slightly. "Relax, babe. You're doing great."

Minji gave her a side-eye. "This was your idea. You literally begged me to drive."

"Yeah, 'cause I wanted to see you looking all cool behind the wheel," Hanni admitted, grinning. "Didn't know you were gonna act like you're taking a driver's test."

Minji scoffed, shaking her head with a smile. "I hate you."

Hanni gasped dramatically, placing a hand over her heart. "Wow. Is this what love looks like?"

Minji smirked, finally settling into the drive. "Maybe."

The soft hum of the radio filled the car, blending with the occasional sounds of their laughter. The city lights flickered across Minji's face, making Hanni's heart do a little flip.

Without thinking, she lifted her camera again.

Minji sighed. "Are you still filming me?"

"Obviously," Hanni said, grinning. "You look good like this."

Minji rolled her eyes but couldn't hide the slight pink tinge dusting her cheeks. "You're ridiculous."

"You love it," Hanni shot back, zooming in on Minji's face.

Minji glanced at her, lips twitching. "I love you."

Hanni's fingers stilled over the camera button. It wasn't that Minji hadn't said it before—but the way she said it now, all soft and natural, made Hanni's breath catch.

Slowly, she lowered the camera. "Yeah?"

Minji nodded, her hand reaching for Hanni's. She laced their fingers together and pressed a kiss to Hanni's knuckles without taking her eyes off the road. "Yeah."

Hanni blinked, warmth spreading through her chest. She squeezed Minji's hand before letting go, flipping the camera around to record herself.

"So, update," she said, speaking into the lens. "Minji just said she loves me while driving. Which, honestly, is kind of a flex."

Minji chuckled, shaking her head. "I'm literally right here."

Hanni turned the camera back toward her. "Say it again for the people in the back."

Minji gave her a look but, after a beat, softened. "I love you," she murmured again.

Hanni smiled so wide her cheeks hurt. "That's what I thought."

The road stretched out ahead of them, leading them toward the outskirts of the city, where the lights grew fewer and the sky above became clearer. Hanni leaned over, resting her head on Minji's shoulder.
