Here's the end of our journey...

Dinner had been sweet, full of laughs. They took their time washing the dishes, laughing through suds, flicking water at each other like overgrown kids in love. But the moment Hanni dried the last plate, her energy shifted. That subtle change Minji always caught—the glint in her eye, the way she suddenly stood just a little too close, her hand brushing Minji's a little slower than necessary.
By the time they made it back to the couch, Minji barely had a second to sit before Hanni climbed over her lap like she belonged there—because she did.
Minji blinked up at her, a smile already forming. "Comfortable?"
"Getting there," Hanni murmured, leaning down until their foreheads touched. Her lips ghosted over Minji's, playful and unhurried. "Missed you."
Minji's hands instinctively slid to her girlfriend's thighs, holding her close. "Mm. You're clingy."
"You like it," Hanni whispered, brushing her lips along Minji's jaw, soft and slow—just enough pressure to make Minji hum. "You pretend you don't, but you do."
"Maybe a little."
Hanni grinned against her skin. "Liar."
She started to trail kisses along Minji's neck, her hands gently tugging at the hem of Minji's sweatshirt. The way she straddled her, so confident and soft at the same time, made Minji dizzy. Hanni's fingers brushed under the fabric, fingertips tracing the warmth of her skin like she was mapping out something sacred.
Minji let her head fall back against the couch. "Is this your thank-you for dinner?"
"No," Hanni said, nipping lightly at her collarbone. "This is my I've-been-on-tour-for-weeks-and-I-need-my-girlfriend time."
Her hips shifted forward a little, her eyes locked on Minji's. "Unless you have any complaints?"
Minji swallowed hard, breath catching, but managed a smirk. "No complaints. Except maybe that you're very... focused tonight."
"I'm making up for lost time."
Their lips met again—hungrier now, deeper. Minji's hands gripped her waist, grounding herself in the feeling of Hanni pressed against her, their bodies syncing like muscle memory. But just as Hanni's hands started tugging her sweatshirt up higher, Minji pulled back a little.
"I have something for you," she said, her voice low, her lips still brushing against Hanni's.
Hanni paused, her mouth slightly parted. "...Like a surprise?"
Minji nodded.
"Is it a sexy surprise?"
Minji grinned, amused. "Not exactly."
Hanni stared at her for a beat, blinking. Then she groaned dramatically and dropped her head into Minji's neck. "You're telling me you let me climb you like a tree knowing you were about to pause for a wholesome girlfriend moment?"
Minji chuckled, fingers brushing through Hanni's hair. "Guilty."
Hanni sat back just enough to raise an eyebrow. "Then it better be good. Like... I'll-forgive-you good."
"Oh, it is," Minji said softly, a glimmer in her eye.
Hanni narrowed her eyes. "If this ends with me crying like a baby, I'm never letting you be mysterious again."
Minji pulled her into one kiss before whispering, "No promises." She kissed Hanni's cheek with a teasing smile. "Stay right here," she whispered, slipping off the couch and disappearing down the hall.
