Backstage was buzzing with energy. The roar of the crowd outside blended with the bass-heavy beats of the opening act, shaking the walls. But in this small, dimly lit corner, Minji couldn't hear any of it.

Because Hanni was standing right in front of her. And she looked... unreal.

Dressed in a brand-new stage outfit, her presence alone was enough to knock the breath out of Minji's lungs. The confidence in her stance, the glint of excitement in her eyes, the way the lights reflected off her perfectly styled look—it was overwhelming in the best way possible.

Minji barely registered what she was doing before her hands were on Hanni's waist, pulling her close. "You—" she started, but words weren't enough. So she just kissed her.

And it wasn't a quick, soft kiss. No, this was deep, intense, claiming. Minji's lips parted against Hanni's, tilting her head to deepen it as her fingers pressed into the fabric of Hanni's outfit. Hanni made a small noise against her lips, melting into it just as Minji traced the seam of her lips with her tongue. Hanni parted her lips instinctively, letting Minji take control, their breaths mixing as the kiss grew hotter.

Hanni's fingers curled around Minji's jacket, gripping tightly, but before things could escalate further—

"YAH! KIM MINJI!"

Minji barely had time to react before Hanni's makeup artist yanked her away, eyes wide with horror. "Are you fucking serious right now? She's about to go on stage, and you just—?!"

Minji, still dazed from the kiss, glanced at Hanni's smudged lips and burst into laughter. "My bad."

The artist groaned. "Your bad?! Do you know how much time I spent on that lipstick?"

Minji grinned, wiping her thumb across her own lips. "I mean... at least it's long-lasting, right?"

Hanni, still catching her breath, lightly smacked Minji's arm. "Go sit down before you cause more trouble."

Minji held her hands up in surrender, but she was still grinning. "Fine, fine. I'll leave you to your last-minute touch-ups." She gave Hanni one last look, softer this time, then murmured, "Kill it out there."

Hanni's expression softened, and she nodded. "I will."

Minji turned to leave, licking her lips absentmindedly, only to pause when she spotted a group of familiar faces.

Hanni's family.

They were waiting near the VIP entrance, excitement written all over their faces. Minji started making her way toward them, but before she could reach them, a shift in the crowd caught her attention.

People were staring. Whispering.

She heard the murmurs before she even turned her head.

"Wait, is that... Kim Minji?"

"Oh my god, it's her!"

"Why is she here? Is she just supporting Hanni, or—"

"No way, are they actually dating?"

Minji smirked but said nothing, casually stopping when a few fans held out their phones for autographs. She took the marker someone handed her, signing her name smoothly, acting like she couldn't hear the speculation buzzing around her.

Until someone in the crowd, bolder than the rest, called out, "Minji! Do you have a crush on Hanni?"

The crowd hushed for a second, anticipation crackling in the air.
