The late morning sun streamed through the curtains, casting a soft golden glow over the room. Minji blinked sleepily, stretching slightly as she adjusted to the warmth of the sheets. Beside her, Hanni was still curled up, her face buried in the pillow, her lips slightly parted as she breathed softly. Minji smiled, reaching out to brush a stray strand of hair from Hanni's face.

She debated staying in bed longer—just holding Hanni like this—but her stomach let out a quiet growl, and she sighed in defeat. Carefully slipping out of bed, she grabbed a hoodie from the chair nearby, pulling it over her head before heading downstairs.

The house was quieter than Minji expected, the usual bustling energy of the Pham household replaced with a peaceful stillness. She took a deep breath, inhaling the faint scent of coffee lingering from earlier in the morning and the distant smell of eucalyptus from outside. It was warm, cozy—homey. She understood why Hanni always missed this place so much.

As she padded into the living room, she found Jasmine sprawled across the couch, phone in one hand, juice in the other. She looked up lazily when Minji entered, her lips twitching into a smirk.

"Morning," Jasmine greeted, sipping her juice.

Minji raised an eyebrow as she stretched, still adjusting to being awake. "Morning... You're up early"

Jasmine finally turned to look at her and snorted. "It's almost noon."

Minji blinked. "Oh."

Jasmine smirked. "Someone was up all night cuddling my sister, huh?"

Minji rolled her eyes but smiled. "Where's everyone?"

"Mom and Dad went out to get groceries. They're cooking something special for your farewell dinner tonight."

Minji's expression softened. "A farewell dinner?"

Jasmine nodded, setting her phone down. "Yeah. Guess that means they like you or something." She paused for a moment before adding, "Guess that means I like you too."

Minji raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Jasmine sighed dramatically. "Yeah, you're actually kinda cool. Like, not just cool in the celebrity way, but cool as a person. And my sister is really lucky to have you. So, yeah, I got a little bit attached. Ugh, I hate it."

Minji smirked, sitting down beside her. "You hate it?"

Jasmine groaned, covering her face. "I mean, at first, you were just this cool model, right? I even had a Pinterest board dedicated to you."

Minji gasped. "A Pinterest board?!"

Jasmine threw a pillow at her. "Shut up!"

Minji caught it, laughing. "This is amazing. I should've known you were a fan."

Jasmine rolled her eyes but couldn't hide the smile tugging at her lips. "Yeah, yeah. But then I actually got to know you, and now you're, like, family or something. And now I'm stuck with you."

Minji softened at that. "That's not a bad thing, is it?"

Jasmine hesitated for a second before sighing. "No, it's not. But I hate that I'm actually gonna miss you."

Minji's heart warmed. Without thinking, she reached over and pulled Jasmine into a tight hug.

"Ew, gross," Jasmine grumbled, but she didn't pull away.

Minji grinned. "You're totally attached to me."

Jasmine groaned. "Shut up."

Minji just hugged her tighter. "No."
