Hi, I missed y'all

Hanni settled onto the couch, phone in hand, a smirk tugging at her lips as she prepared to dive into the absolute chaos she knew awaited her online. Their fans had probably gone feral, theories were running wild, and Dispatch was definitely having a field day. She was ready for it—kind of excited, even. But just as she was about to open Twitter, a soft but firm hand wrapped around her wrist.
Minji.
Hanni blinked as Minji gently took her phone away, locking it before setting it aside.
"What are you—" Hanni started, only to watch Minji do the same with her phone. She powered it down and placed it next to Hanni's before turning to face her fully, a small smile playing at her lips. Her eyes were impossibly warm, deep brown and filled with something that made Hanni's heart stutter.
Hanni tilted her head, amused. "Babe?"
Minji reached out, tucking a strand of Hanni's hair behind her ear, her fingers lingering just a second longer than necessary.
"We can worry about the internet later," Minji murmured, her voice soft, steady. "For now, I just want to enjoy my last day here with you, my beautiful girlfriend. Just us."
Hanni stared at her, her chest tightening in the best way.
For so long, Hanni had been scared of this. Of them. She had spent months—years, even—being so careful, hiding them away, convincing herself that what they had was too precious to share. And yet, hours ago, she had done the most terrifying thing—she had laid it all out for the world to see, no hesitation, no regrets.
But Minji... Minji wasn't rushing to check what people thought. She wasn't worried about the headlines or the reactions. She didn't even care.
She just wanted her.
A slow, helpless smile spread across Hanni's face. "You're such a romantic, you know that?"
Minji rolled her eyes but didn't pull away. "I just don't want to waste a second of today on anything that isn't you."
Hanni let out a breathy laugh, shaking her head. "You really know how to make a girl swoon, huh?"
Minji smirked, tucking Hanni's hand into her own and squeezing gently. "Only for my girl."
The words sent warmth rushing through Hanni, a feeling so big she wasn't sure what to do with it. So she just squeezed Minji's hand back, grounding herself in the touch.
"So..." Hanni leaned in, their faces just inches apart. "What's the plan, Miss Forget-The-Internet?"
Minji hummed, as if considering. "Anything we want. We could go for a walk, lie in bed all day, cook something together and—"
"Burn the kitchen down?" Hanni teased.
Minji let out a small laugh, her nose scrunching slightly. "I was gonna say attempt to cook, but sure."
Hanni giggled, shaking her head. "Okay, but really. You don't even wanna see how the world is reacting?"
Minji shrugged. "I already know how YOU feel. That's enough for me."
Hanni exhaled slowly, feeling that overwhelming warmth again.
Hanni swallowed, her voice quieter when she spoke again. "Wow. Kim Minji, putting me first? You must really love me or something."
Minji smiled, leaning in until their foreheads touched. "I do."
Hanni barely had time to react before Minji closed the distance, kissing her slow and deep. It wasn't hurried or desperate—it was soft, lingering, filled with everything Minji hadn't said out loud.
