Celine's POV

"Do you like it?" she asked looking at me intently as I keep eating the food she prepared for me.

And I won't lie, it is pretty tasty which I know that she didn't make it. Except for the chocolate drink, it's the same one she always made for me when we were still friends.

"Yes, I very like it" I took a bite and can't help but show my satisfication.

I'm not exaggering it, it really taste good.

"Hey Celi." Kuya called to me, I looked at his direction and see him being a little hesitant.

"What is it, kuya?" I asked putting down my fork as I wiped my mouth with a tissue.

"What do you think of leaving the country with me?" He said, hesitant is visible in his voice.

I looked at Azari who's now clenching her fist beside her, she look tensed and annoyed but then her eyes held another emotion, sadness.

"I don't know kuya, I don't think my wif-" I trailed off, but got cut off when my kuya spoke again.

"I already know that your marriage with her isn't something that you both want, our parents told me everything, Celi."

I feel like my world stopped when I heard that. They told him everything? I wonder what kuya thinks of me now, does he hate me? Does he think i'm really a homewrecker, a slut, a whore, a selfish bitch like they say?

what does he think of me?

My thoughts were cut off when I felt kuya held my hand.

"I know that none of those are true. I believe you, Celine." I don't know but I feel like my tears will start falling any minute now.

Fuck, I don't want to be so vulnerable right now.

He's the only one who believes me after knowing everything beside Isabel. I never thought someone will really believe me.

"She won't go with you." Azari stepping in our conversation.

My eyes turned to her so as well my brother's.

"That's not for you to decide on." My brother said firmly.

"Either my marriage to Celine is true or not, she is married to me, Limmuel." She said sternly, holding eye contanct with my brother.

"Kuya, she's right and I'm fine here, don't worry. Azari and I are good now." I gave him a reassuring smile as I pat his shoulder.

Their eye contact was cut off when kuya's phone rang, gaining our attention.

"Let me take this quickly." He said as he left the kitchen and I just nodded at him.

Silence took over and none of us tried to talk, I feel like we're both thinking deeply right now. But it was all cut off when she decided to speak.

"You can go with him, I won't stop you." She looked down to her feet, looking at it like it was the most interesting she's seeing right now.

"No, it's alright. I don't have any plans on leaving just yet." I said that caught her attention, she looked up at me almost too quickly.

"You have plans on leaving the country?"

"Yes, after we divorced." I said plainly, playing at the food infront of me. In just like a snap, I lost all my appetite.

"I- o-okay" She stuttered.

What she said caught my attention, she didn't stop me? She didn't threaten me like she always does, she just stood there, quiet and fighting with herself. She didn't question me like she always do, she didn't say no to it.
