Azari's POV

"Celine?" I asked the girl as I opened the door. I saw her sitting but she didn't budge or like react, she was just there sitting and looking at the wall.

She seems not herself.

"Hey, are you okay? May masakit ba sayo?" I walked closer to her and inspect her but she seems alright physically. May bandage na ang sugat niya sa pulsuhan niya, hindi na rin ito gaanong dumudugo.

I looked at her but she's still staring at the wall with no emotions in her eyes, she didn't even take a glance to me. I touched her chin and make her look at me and when her eyes met mine, it's like I'm looking at a dead person. Her eyes held no emotions just a plain blank look.

And seeing her like that makes my heart ache for no reason.

"Are you okay, Celine?" I asked softly, trying to get a reaction and a response to her but I failed miserably.

"Please talk to me, love" I said in a low voice, trying not to cry. I sat in the chair beside her bed and held her hand, squeezing it tightly.

But she remained silent, she remained looking at me with that blank expression. It seems like she's not here. her beautiful smile and the way her eyes sparkle everytime is no longer in sight. It feels like it was never there, there are no trace on it.

I don't know how long it passed til the door opened, bringing me back into reality. My hands still holding Celine's and I don't have any plans on letting go.

"Celine.." Her brother called her, pumunta ito sa kabilang parte ng kama at niyakap ng mahigpit si Celine.

I saw how her eyes changed a little but when her brother let go, it all came back again. Her plain blank expression, no emotions in her eyes and just staring at the wall.

"Are you okay, princess?" He asked the girl.

I thought that she's just ignoring me earlier when she didn't respond, but to my surprise she didn't respond to her brother either. Her eyes held no emotions, just staring blankly at us.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Her brother asked again and held Celine's cheeks, making her look at him.

His eyes turned to me when she didn't respond.

"What really happened to her, Azari?" He looked at me straight into my eyes, clenching his fist a little to his side.

"I actually don't know too." I said lowly, looking down, avoiding eye contanct with anyone.

I don't know why but I feel so guilty.

I can't help but ask myself, what am I been doing when she did it? How can I be so dumb to leave her alone when I know she's not herself ever since that night? How can I be so selfish? But fuck most of all, why am I caring to her like this? Is it because she's been my friend for so long and I still feel a little care for her? Is it because of what we had before? Is it really because of that or it's something else?

Just what the hell is this feeling? Why do I care to you so much?

Why does it feel like I love you?

My thoughts were cut off when the door opened again, revealing the woman I'm least expecting to see at time like this.

"Isabel" I breathed out.

She take a glance at me and her gaze turned to the woman infront of her making her stop in her tracks. She walk slowly at the side of the bed, close to me and ended up sitting beside me. I didn't fight her about it, I'm just to tired to even care right now.

"What happened to her?" She asked when she saw what state Celine's in right now.

Even to her, we got no reaction from Celine.

She just sat there, with nothing in her eyes. And it's like we're looking at a Human Robot right now. It feels like she's not with us.

Everyone started talking to her, hoping to get a response. Even her father started talking and I saw some emotions in his eyes unlike to his wife that I can't see anything at all. Celine and her mom looks the same right now, no emotions, just staring blankly. The only difference is her mom is talking right and then for a little. But her? nothing at all.

For like about an hour or so, we still got no reaction from her. When the doctor get inside, they all asked him lots of questions and all he say is Celine is already okay and her not talking is maybe her own choice or maybe she just have dealt on something traumatic that made her act like this. Maybe she's too overwhelmed and she's thinking of so many things at the moment.

"There's a lot of possible reason why she's acting this way but I assure you, she's now safe and okay. Infact you can take her home with you tonight." The doctor added as he smiled a little and left the room.

As soon as the doctor left, I heard Celine's brother and Isabel arguing sa kung saan magsstay si Celine. I ignored them and kept my eyes with the brown eyed girl, still not letting go of her hand. My eyes remained focus on her til I decided to stop the fight between the two because they're starting to get annoyingly loud. Hindi na rin nakisali pa ang mga magulang ni Celine at pinanood nalang ang pagtatalo ng dalawa sa harap nila.

"No, she's gonna stay with me. I'm her friend!" Isabel said, a little annoyed.

"You're just a friend, I am her brother!" Sagot naman ng kuya ni isabel.

"And I am her wife, now shut it both of you, she's gonna stay with me." I said, ending the fight between the two. They both looked at me and was about to protest again.

"I am her brother, her family. I have more than enough reasons to keep her with me." Her brother stated looking at me intently.

"You know so well why she can't stay with you. And I am her wife, Celine is not a kid anymore so she's gonna go home with me." I said eyeing up his parents and he know what I meant. I ended it up not planning to listen to all of them them anymore as I made my way towards Celine's side.

"All of you can go now, I'll take care of her."

Her brother didn't dare to protest again when he realized I am right. Celine won't like to stay with a place near her parents especially after what happened. As for Isabel, she knows kung hanggang saan lang siya kaya hindi na rin ito nakipagtalo.

Nagsimula na silang umalis sa kwarto at naiwan muli kaming dalawa ni Celine. I didn't say anything as I held her hand and squeeze it.

"Let's go home, Celi."
