“Ahh just as their fathers, although it seems there blood has finally awakened in their daughters shame they had such a dreadful faith don’t you think?, well no cause in dwelling on it now make sure they have anything they need and please start preparing there room in the special section of the dorms”

“But sir, we still don’t…”

“Nonsense, I have a feeling about these girls, they will do great things here I’m sure of it”

“As you wish sir, as you wish”

LUCIENNE’S POV

“Girls, have a seat”

We sat down in front of Kingsley in what I could only guess was his office. We had just had our abilities and star ranking tests and let me tell you they are not very pleasant. Since we didn’t have any conscious control over our abilities we had had to go thru a test that consists in them giving you virtual reality goggles and them showing you what you fears most in the world so that you feel so much in danger that your abilities can surface.

No, I will not tell you what I fear most in this world, let’s just say that the test worked because as soon as my brain realized that maybe this wasn’t just an illusion that dark blue haze came back, but instead of just making a protective shell around me it shattered the very poisonous water anaconda that was choking me and flew me out of that damned lake so I could breath.

Ok I kind of gave it away on that one, but personally I wasn’t even close to knowing what the heck my abilities (a.k.a. blue haze) could do, I mean; Protecting from crashes, check, Killing anacondas, check, Flying me out of danger, check. Maybe that’s all I could do.

After the test I didn’t have the guts to ask Zoey what had been the fear that the goggles has shown her, but judging from her horrified expression it must have been bad.

“It seems you passed your tests with flying colors and judging by your results and your academical backgrounds both of you have been placed in the Special star ranking giving you both the highest star ranking a student can achieve in this school. As you know that entails a monthly allowance of 500 dollars each so here are your cards”

He handed us what looked like debit cards, mine had Lucienne Lucnar emblazed on the front, Zoey’s had Zoey Sunniva, but both had a label in the shape of a golden star enclosed in a dark red circle signifying our star ranking.

“Now as to your dorm arrangements, since both of you are Special Star we won’t need to separate you” At his word I felt like a big weight had been dropped form my shoulders and we both turned and grinned at each other, showing our relief at getting to be together.

“… and since the dorms for the Special Stars are two people by dorm you will get one all to yourselves”

“What is the number of people by dorm if you’re in another star ranking?” Zoey asked.

“Scott didn’t mention that?” Kingsley asked a little surprised.

To that Zoey only shacked her head in a no and waited to be answered.

“Well it goes like this; If you are a no-star or a single star the number of people that have to share a dorm are 6, if you’re a double star or a triple star there’s 4 people per dorm, and then there’s the Special stars that live two by dorm. But the dorms are quite nice, so don’t worry about that right now, I will show it to you when I escort you there later, first we have to finish with your ranking report”
