Recap:
“Nah, she was probably just annoyed with Jennifer’s voice, can’t blame her really.” Suddenly they heard the bell that signaled the start of second hour.
“Great now you made me late for Biology you bastard.” Louka said playfully as he got up and stretched his hand out for Nathaniel to take.
“Whatever, you probably already have that class down, and even if you didn’t all the chicks in your class would just die if you asked them for your notes.” Nathaniel replied as he shook himself from all the leaves sticking to his uniform and started heading out of the forest.
“The perks of having an Australian accent” Louka said with a triumphant grin.

LUCIENNE’S POV
“Luce, Luce… Lucienne! Hey wait up!” Turning around because I recognized who was shouting my name I almost smacked in to said person who came to a screeching halt in front of me. I was just coming out of Greek Mythology and had been looking around for Zoey, who was in Greek Literature and Art, so we could head to the library for our “Independent studies” hour.
“Couldn’t… you… hear … me… calling… for… you?” Brain said a little out of breath.
“I wasn’t expecting a male voice to call to me, so what do you want I’m waiting for Zoey.” I said nonchalantly.
“Zoey’s at the library already doing some research, you’re coming with me.” Brain said while taking my arm and marching me down the hall towards the entrance of the school.
“Wow, slow down your horses, my schedule says I have to be at the library at about now.” I said as I freed my arm form his grasp and the bell rang signaling I was late.
“Don’t worry about it, were heading to my lab and before you ask I have permission for this, I can’t conduct my independent studies without the person I’m studying now can I. “He said wiggling his eyebrows. A bunch of disgusting thoughts started plaguing my mind as I tried to decipher what he meant with them.
“What the hell?” I almost screeched. And the little bastard started laughing, actually laughing.
“Oh my God you should have seen your face, priceless.” Brain kept laughing and my anger kept rising, before I could murder the little bastard Miss Kathy came running towards us.
“Mr. Jobs, Miss Lucnar here’re your permission slip and the travel-en you will need.” She said with a kind smile as she handed two official looking pieces of paper and what looked like a pen to him and quickly left.
“Ok, fess up before I mess you up so bad you will wish you had never been born.” I threatened.
“All right, all right” Brain complied, showing his hands in surrender as he motioned for me to follow him; a little begrudgingly I did as he asked. “It’s quite simple actually, since little old me
Is taking care of your power ring by default you turn in to my independent study since I can’t work on the ring without you there to test any modifications.” Brain explained simply as we made our way to the exit.
I frowned at his words because something just didn’t add up.
“Wait and what is my independent study?” I asked.
“For now, it will be being my helper.” He smiled as he opened the door for me and proceeded to hand our permission slips to the guard-bots standing post at the doors.
