Creak...

Was the sound of Diluc and Aether entering the bar, Paimon floating above their shoulders. Wu trudged in behind them, his hands in his pockets.

"Welcome back!" Venti said, before his eyes lit up at the sight of the Lyre. "Ah, this is the Holy Lyre! You managed to retrieve it!" Venti exclaimed.

...

...

...

Aether, Diluc, and Wu were silent. Aether looked nervous, while Diluc and Wu looked pissed off.

"Did..." Jean muttered, noticing the hostility in the air. "Did something happen on the mission?" She asked.

"I got the job done. Grumbles here didn't like how I did it, though." Wu said, sitting at a barstool and facing away.

"You mean you rushed ahead and jeopardized the Lyre." Diluc said.

"Sorry for not wasting my time on stupid puzzles." Wu hissed. "Hell, that "mission" was beneath me." Wu said cockily.

"Bastard..." Diluc's vision seemed to glow as his gaze hardened.

"H-Hey..." Jean said, trying to mediate the tension.

"The pattern flowing through the wind carved on the rosewood... and the strings still feel cold to the touch too. Oh, the memories..." Venti said, completely unaware of the tension in the room.

"What do you think, Venti? Can you summon Dvalin?" Jean asked, turning away from them for a moment.

"Although this Lyre is the real thing, I doubt that it's going to work." Venti said.

"Then what the hell did we get this for!?" Wu snapped.

"Hold on, friend! Let me explain!" Venti said in his cheery voice. "As you can see, the lyre has been through a thousand years of history. Its anemo power has run dry." Venti explained. "In this condition, you couldn't play music fit for even Diluc's tavern with it..." Venti said.

"Bards fight to get on the stage of my tavern. Don't make assumptions." Diluc said.

"Is that really important right now, master Diluc!?" Paimon asked. "And you! Did you just borrow the Holy Lyre to play music for drunkards to hear?" Paimon turned to Venti.

"Hehe...~" Venti chuckled.

GRNCH!!!

Was the sound of Wu's blood pressure skyrocketing.

"What do you mean "hehe"!?" Paimon yelled.

"Anyway, we won't be able to call Dvalin with it." Venti said. "The frame's integrity is fine, but the strings..." Venti said. "You're up, Traveler!" Venti turned to Aether.

"Relax, it's not broken! It's just that the intensity of its Anemo power has greatly diminished." Venti explained. "Do you still have Dvalin's teardrop crystal with you?" Venti asked.

Aether nodded.

"Great! Try to use it on the Holy lyre." Venti said.

Aether produced the tear-shaped gemstone and slowly ushered the floating crystal towards the Lyre. Immediately, the Lyre drew it in, and Aether held the gem in place as the Lyre did its work, slowly siphoning the anemo energy as a turquoise glow was produced by the phenomenon.

"It worked, as expected..." Venti smiled.

"This youthful glow..." Jean said, studying the light.

"I mean, if you're just gonna say it..." Wu said, smirking.
