High above the earth, on the borders of the farthest reaches of the atmosphere, two beings hovered. A familiar Saiyan, bathed in purple, pulsing energy, donning the outfit of a God of Destruction. His opponent, nothing more than a boy, beaten and bloodied, the last remnants of Super Saiyan God beaten out of him by the true Saiyangod.

"Odiferous scum! A coward and a weakling, until your dying gasp!" Lord Vegeta snarled, extending a palm filled with ki at his supposed enemy.

"You left us... this planet... alone... for 500 years...! And after all this time, you want to wipe out the world you gave your life to protect...!?" The boy said with a pained groan. He clutched his arm, having been seared by a ki blast Vegeta had put too much power into.
"You've all grown into pathetic whelps, watered down by the blood of that inferior species! There are no true Saiyans here!" Vegeta yelled, the rage and disgust visible in his eyes.
"We've been enjoying the peace you and Son Goku created for us...! Why are you doing this...!?" The broken mortal begged his absentee god.
"Anything that I could ever have loved about this rock died out centuries ago. You're all scum, you especially! You, their champion who thought that he could rival a god if he gathered five equally disgusting weaklings!? You didn't earn that power! You haven't trained! You haven't even reached Super Saiyan! YOU DON'T DESERVE TO HAVE THAT TAIL!" Vegeta roared, utterly irate at the failure in front of him.
"You forced me to fight you...! I never wanted this...!" The boy croaked, tears welling up in his eyes.
"UTTER GARBAGE!!! Do you not feel ashamed of your weakness!?!?!? If I knew protecting this world would result in such a failure of a race, then I wouldn't have bothered!" Vegeta continued to yell, the ki ball in his palm growing ever larger by the second.
"You were my hero...! I wanted to be like you...! To live up to the legends of you and Son Goku...! Why are you doing this...!?" The boy's speech was a weak, strained whisper, his spirit crushed by the overbearing, insurmountable force in front of him.
