The Traveller and Paimon braced themselves as Dvalin burst into the sky, sending a blast of wind in all directions. After a few seconds, the turbulence subsided, and Paimon breathed a sigh of relief.

"Phew, that was close! Paimon almost got blown away!" The small fairy-like being said. "Luckily, Paimon managed to grab a hold of your hair! Thanks." She said.

"Good thing the dragon didn't notice us..." The Traveller muttered.

"Just what was that? I thought we were gonna get eaten..." Paimon said. "It definitely has something to do with that weirdo who was talking to the dragon..." Paimon commented.

"I can't believe dragons exist in this world..." The Traveller muttered.

"Yeah, Paimon gets why you're worried..." She said, crossing her arms. "Luckily, looks we don't have to worry about any more surprises!" She said.

Rustle!

Paimon let out a shrill shriek as they both heard a rustling from the bushes.

The Traveler drew his sword, taking a defensive stance as Paimon fluttered behind him.

A worn-down-looking young man with all but a small portion of his pants missing stumbled out of the undergrowth.

"Wah, he's naked!!!" Paimon cried, covering her eyes.

"Um... Hey there!" Wu waved at them nervously.

"Who're you!?" Paimon said.

"Hey there. I'm Wu, Son Wu. And trust me, I am just as confused as you are..." Wu chuckled weakly.

"Whoa! You look super banged up!" Paimon exclaimed.

"Yeah, long, looong story..." Wu chuckled. "As you can see, I'm no threat to you guys, so could you, uh... please put that sword down?" Wu said. He was sure that that sword wasn't much of a threat to him, but in his current state, he didn't want to take the chance.

The Traveller slowly lowered his sword.

"I was heading to, uh..." Wu said, pausing as he forgot the name of the place Venti mentioned. "Mon... Mon-something..."

"Mondstadt?" Paimon asked.

"Mondstadt! That's the one! I was heading that way for medical attention because I... uh... Fell down some stairs." Wu lied.

"..." They both stared at him, not believing him.

"I'm currently running low on friends, so could I, uh... tag along with you two, please?" Wu asked.

The Traveller kept his guard up, slowly stepping forward.

"Are you injured?" He asked.

"A little here and there and everywhere..." Wu muttered. "But nothing I can't handle..." he chuckled, only to wince and clutch his side.

"Traveller, he looks in pretty bad shape, and we're heading to Mondstadt, too... we should try to help him..." Paimon said, turning to The Traveller.

"..." He looked at Paimon, then back at Wu, who smiled nervously.

"...Alright." The Traveller nodded. "You can come with us." He said.

"Sweet..." Wu sighed. "And you are...?" He asked.

"You can call me Aether." Aether said.

"And Paimon's Paimon!!!" Paimon cheered.

"Great, great..." Wu said, smiling.

"Hm...?" Paimon asked, noticing a red glow where Dvalin had layed earlier. "There's some kind of shiny red thingy on the big rock over there..." She said. "Let's go take a closer look." She said, turning to Aether. "Wu, since you're so injured, you should stay back in case it's-"
