"I think I'll have a glass of..." Venti said, holding a bottle of wine.

"You can put down that bottle you stole from behind the counter." Diluc said.

"...Something cold." Venti said.

"...Right." Diluc said dismissively. "I want answers." Diluc said.

"Lemme finish my drink first? I'll pay you - well, with a performance." Venti said.

"Broke bitch..." Wu muttered.

"Didn't you just try to push a bill onto the Traveller!?" Paimon yelled.

"It's not about money." Diluc said to venti. "You seem to be too young to be drinking." He observed.

"Worry not! When I started drinking, you were still-"

"Venti." Wu said.

"What? It's true!" Venti argued.

"H-How about answering my question first? " Aether stepped in, turning to Diluc.

"He is Master Diluc. Boss of... ah, the owner of this tavern." Venti explained. "He's very famous. By the way, his dandelion wine is one of my favorites. Although most of the time I can only afford a bottle or two..." Venti added.

"I just heard about some thieves from the guards." Diluc revealed.

Aether tensed, Venti chuckled, and Wu's posture shifted into one ready to fight.

"...For the record, I like your guts for trying to steal the Holy Lyre der Himmel. Even if you are fools... but we don't often get people like you." Diluc said.

"It wasn't us that stole it! The real thief is out there!" Paimon said.

"This is the hotshot of the Knights of Favonius, and this one here could care less about much of anything besides his own goals."

"Hey...!"

"Why would they steal Mondstadt's sacred treasures?" Venti asked.

"Hotshot?" Diluc turned to Aether. "Oh, so it's you." Diluc said, turning to Wu. "And you're the one Jean mentioned." Diluc's gaze seemed to narrow as he met Wu's eyes. "So you're all close friends with the bard?" Diluc asked.

"The best!" Venti cheered.

...

"...Yeah, no." Wu said.

"I've only heard him play once." Aether said.

"...Well, despite you only being a passing traveller, and you having no apparent stake in this, you both offered to help Mondstadt in its time of need..." Diluc said. "A shame you joined the knights." Diluc muttered.

"...Wait, am I a part of the knights?" Wu wondered.

"The Knights of Favonius... Inefficient right from the beginning, and entirely reliant on outlanders to clean up their mess." Diuc said. "And towards the Fatui? Weak and conservative." He said. "Forget it. I don't feel like talking about it." Diluc said, despite seeming quite keen on complaining about it.

"Seems you don't really like the Knights of Favonius." Venti observed.

"Just differences in approach is all. I have my own hopes for this city." Diluc said. "Now, answers. Why did you make an attempt on the Holy Lyre?" Diluc asked.

"You sure you want to know? It could implicate you in the affairs of the Knights." Venti said.

"That's fine. I somehow always end up implicated in their affairs." Diluc said.
