"Venti! Venti!" Wu cupped his hands around his mouth and yelled out, trying to find the green bard as he tracked her energy signature. It was faint, yet expansive, almost seeming to permeate throughout the entire city. Was Venti suppressing a greater power?
"Teehee...~"
Wu whipped around, finding Venti standing behind him, placing a hand over her mouth to suppress a giggle.
"My... it's been years since anyone's ever called out for me so excitedly..." Venti smiled.
"...Hey. Where the hell have you been?" Wu asked, shaking away the implications of what Venti said.
"Doing bard stuff, of course..." Venti said avoidingly, turning and walking away.
"Wha-hey!" Wu said. "You said you could help me, right? Just get it over with and-"
"Ababup-" Venti turned, placing his incredibly soft finger against Wu's lips. "I said I would help after you helped me with Dvalin." Venti corrected.
"Beh...!" Wu pushed Venti's hand away, pink dusting his cheeks. "That's beside the point, if you can help me, then just-"
"That doesn't seem fair, though, does it?" Venti asked, smirking.
"You fuckin-"
Wu dashed forward, gripping Venti's wrist, only to be wrenched forward as Venti kept her normal stride. Wu stumbled forward before letting go. What the hell!?
"You know, you remind me a lot of Dvalin. Emotional and quick to anger..." Venti said.
"Grrr...!" Wu growled, annoyed and confused by Venti's display of power. It was his turn to be surprised. Ever since now, he'd been the one astonishing people, and yet Venti was somehow able to drag him like a straw doll!?
"Follow me, I'm about to perform." Venti chirped, waving after him.
"For the love of...!" Wu jogged up until he walked in stride with the girl.
"So, how has my-I mean- this noble city been treating you?" Venti asked.
"It's a bit different from I'm used to..." Wu said. His world was a hodgepodge of futurism and rural life. One could be in an expansive cyber city, and walk two miles south and find themselves in a forest full of dinosaurs. Despite five hundred years of peace and progress, they never really went anywhere, not with the galactic patrol regulating the technological advancement of planets.
Wu sighed again.
Just where the hell did he end up? Another galaxy? Another universe!?
"Hello? Teyvat to Wu?" Venti asked.
"Huh?" Wu snapped his gaze to Venti.
"You brood so frequently and so easily..." Venti teased.
Wu grunted.
"Where the hell are we going...?" Wu asked, noticing that they climbed higher in the city's levels.
"To the statue of the Anemo Archon. I plan to sing a song." Venti smiled.
"Are you for real...!?" Wu asked, wondering how this could help either of their situations.
"We can afford to cut back, can't we?" Venti asked.
"I'm sort of on a tight schedule!" Wu snarled.
"Come now, if it's been this long, either Vegeta's still waiting or your planet's already been blown up by now..." Venti said.
