Roommate Chaos and the Unexpected Pairings

The time had finally come. The dorms were open, and excitement buzzed through the air like electricity. The entire school seemed to have gathered at the bulletin board, where the roommate assignments were posted.

Izuko's POV

Izuko stood by Sarah, both of them staring at the long list of names, trying to find their pairings. Her heart raced, and she was desperately hoping she'd end up with someone familiar.

"Please not someone weird. Please not someone weird," Izuko whispered under her breath, scanning the list.

Finally, she found her name.

"Izuko... and Alv?!" she nearly shouted, relief flooding through her. Alv was one of her closest friends, and suddenly, all the tension evaporated. She could handle this. This would be awesome.

Sarah's POV

Sarah searched for her name, leaning in close to the list. She had no idea who she was going to get, and it was making her feel a little uneasy. But then, she spotted her name, right next to a familiar one.

"Sarah and Aysh."

She smiled to herself. This wasn't bad at all. Aysh was one of her best friends—someone she could rely on. It was going to be fun living with her. At least there wouldn't be any awkward tension.

She glanced at Izuko, who looked equally relieved. "We're both saved," Sarah said, smirking.

Nya's POV

Nya found her name on the list and smirked when she saw who she was paired with.

"Nya... and Kazuha."

It wasn't her closest friend, but Kazuha was chill. She knew she could vibe with her. Plus, she wouldn't have to worry about some uptight roommate who'd freak out if she left clothes lying around.

"This could work," she mumbled to herself.

Hannah's POV

Hannah was standing in the middle of the crowd, feeling her stomach twist in knots. She wasn't so great with new people, and the thought of living with someone she didn't know terrified her.

She finally found her name on the list and squinted. "Hannah... and Yuna?" she muttered. She recognized the name from a few classes. Yuna was bubbly and fun, so it wasn't the worst outcome.

"Okay, I can deal with this," Hannah whispered, still a bit nervous but feeling better about the whole situation.

Avy's POV

Avy had already prepared herself for whatever chaos awaited her. She was ready to take anything with her usual chill vibe.

But when she saw the name next to hers, she almost laughed.

"Avy... and Jennie?"

Her eyebrows shot up in surprise. Jennie was confident and popular, just like Avy. "Well, this is gonna be interesting," Avy said to herself, a grin spreading across her face. She was low-key excited to see how this dynamic would play out.

Back in the Hallway

The group regrouped in the hallway, eyes wide as they exchanged details about their new roommates.

"I got Alv!" Izuko grinned. "This is going to be so much fun."

Sarah nodded. "I'm with Aysh. It's like the universe knew we needed some stability."

Nya shrugged, her usual laid-back self. "I'm with Kazuha. I'm down for this."

Hannah chimed in. "I've got Yuna. She's fun, right?"

Izuko nodded. "Yeah, Yuna's cool. You'll be fine, trust me."

Avy grinned widely. "And I got Jennie. Can you believe it? This is about to be wild."

Sarah raised an eyebrow. "Oh, that's going to be something. I can already tell."

At the Dorms

Later that day, everyone began moving into their new rooms, dragging along their suitcases and essentials. Of course, the chaos only really started once they all actually saw their roommates.

Izuko and Alv's Room

Izuko opened the door to her room and sighed in relief when she saw Alv already unpacking. "You have no idea how happy I am to see you," Izuko said, grinning as she plopped down on the bed.

Alv looked up, smiling. "Same here. I was worried I'd get stuck with some random person."

Izuko nodded, feeling the same. "I feel like this is gonna be the best year ever."

Sarah and Aysh's Room

Sarah was busy unpacking when Aysh walked in, dragging along her own bags.

"Looks like we're roommates now," Aysh said with a laugh, tossing her bag on the bed.

Sarah smiled, already feeling relaxed. "Honestly, this is perfect. No drama, just us."

Aysh nodded. "And a lot of late-night cramming sessions."

Sarah rolled her eyes. "You better believe it."

Nya and Kazuha's Room

Nya strolled into her new room, immediately spotting Kazuha sitting on her bed, casually scrolling through her phone.

"Sup," Nya greeted, tossing her bag onto the bed.

Kazuha looked up, grinning. "Hey. Ready for a crazy semester?"

Nya smirked. "You have no idea."

Avy and Jennie's Room

Avy strolled into her room, where Jennie was already organizing her things, looking stylish and put-together, as usual.

"Hey, roomie," Avy greeted, leaning against the doorframe.

Jennie glanced over, offering a small smile. "Hey. This is gonna be fun, huh?"

Avy grinned. "Oh, you know it."

Hannah and Yuna's Room

Hannah opened the door to find Yuna already sitting on her bed, a big smile on her face.

"Hey, you must be Hannah! I've heard about you in class!" Yuna chirped.

Hannah nodded, a bit shy but smiling back. "Yeah, that's me. Looks like we'll be roommates."

Yuna giggled. "I'm sure we'll have a blast!"

Hannah could already feel the positive energy Yuna radiated. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.

Back in the Hallway

The group met up again in the hallway, all of them sharing their first impressions of their new roommates.

"I am so glad I'm with Alv," Izuko said. "This could've been a disaster."

Sarah nodded. "I don't think I could've handled anyone but Aysh."

Avy smirked. "Jennie's chill, but I can already tell we're gonna have some power struggles."

Nya rolled her eyes. "You would."

Hannah sighed in relief. "Yuna's fun. I think I got lucky."

Izuko smiled, glad to see that everyone seemed pretty happy with their arrangements.

"So," Sarah said, crossing her arms with a mischievous grin. "Who's ready to cause some chaos in these dorms?"

They all laughed, excitement bubbling up inside of them. They knew this semester was going to be full of sassy moments, fun adventures, and plenty of drama. And they couldn't wait.
