Izuko's POV
Waking up in Sarah's arms was already enough to send Izuko's heart into overdrive, but after a few teasing remarks from Sarah, she was practically a flustered mess. Before she could process everything, Sarah handed her a set of comfy clothes and playfully nudged her toward the bathroom to freshen up.
Izuko stared at the neatly folded clothes in her hands, a mix of soft cotton and Sarah's scent lingering in the fabric. "Get ready, and I'll have something special waiting for you," Sarah had said with that signature smirk, leaving Izuko's mind racing with possibilities.
Once in the bathroom, Izuko splashed cold water on her face, trying to shake off the blush that wouldn't seem to fade. "Okay, Izuko, deep breaths. It's just breakfast... with Sarah." She took a moment to admire the bathroom, realizing it was filled with little details that screamed Sarah's style — sleek, yet warm, just like her.
Sarah's POV
While Izuko was getting ready, Sarah made her way to the kitchen, rolling up her sleeves. She pulled out ingredients with a determined smile, ready to whip up something special. "Let's see... pancakes or waffles? Why not both?" She grinned, already imagining the look on Izuko's face when she saw the breakfast spread.
As she poured batter onto the pan, the room filled with the sweet aroma of vanilla and cinnamon. The sizzle of the pancakes and the crisping of waffles felt like the perfect soundtrack to this unexpected, yet delightful, morning together.
Izuko's POV
Stepping out of the bathroom, feeling more awake and less embarrassed, Izuko followed the delicious smell that led her to the kitchen. The sight before her made her pause — Sarah, in a simple tank top, moving around with ease, looking effortlessly gorgeous.
Sarah turned around, catching Izuko's wide-eyed stare. "Hungry?" she asked, holding up a spatula with a wink.
Izuko's stomach growled, answering for her. "Wow, you really went all out," she said, her eyes lighting up at the sight of fluffy pancakes and perfectly golden waffles. "I'm impressed."
Sarah laughed, setting the table with a playful flourish. "Well, I figured you'd need something sweet after all that cuddling last night."
Izuko turned red at the mention, but she couldn't help but smile. "You're really going to tease me all morning, aren't you?"
Sarah simply shrugged, her eyes twinkling. "Maybe. But first, let's eat."
