Izuko's POV

A warm, cozy sensation enveloped Izuko as she stirred awake, her face nuzzled into something soft and familiar. She let out a small, content sigh, taking in the comforting scent of... Sarah?

Her eyes shot open, and it took her a moment to adjust to the morning light streaming into the room. Her heart skipped a beat when she realized she was in Sarah's bed, not the couch where she had fallen asleep last night. The blankets felt luxurious, like they were pulling her deeper into warmth. But the most shocking thing was that she was cuddled tightly into Sarah's arms, her head resting on Sarah's chest.

Sarah, who was only wearing a sports bra and a pair of sweatpants, her toned stomach and arms on full display.

Izuko's face turned crimson, a rush of embarrassment and something else heating her cheeks. How did she end up in Sarah's bed? The last thing she remembered was falling asleep on the couch after their evening together. She felt like her heart was doing gymnastics in her chest, thoughts spinning wildly as she considered all the possibilities.

Did... did something happen last night?

Her mind raced. What if they had done more than just sleep next to each other? The thought made her blush even harder, her face practically on fire. She dared a glance at Sarah's exposed skin, searching for any hint of hickeys or marks, her heart racing like a runaway train.

Nothing. No signs, no evidence.

She almost sighed in relief, but her breath hitched when she noticed the way Sarah's lips were curling into a teasing smile.

Oh no, she's awake.

Before Izuko could compose herself, Sarah's eyes fluttered open, a lazy, knowing smirk spreading across her lips as their gazes locked.

"Good morning, cuddle bug," Sarah purred, her voice husky from sleep.

Izuko froze, her blush deepening if that was even possible. "W-What happened last night?" she stammered, her voice a pitch higher than usual.

Sarah's smirk only grew as she leaned in closer, her breath tickling Izuko's ear. "You fell asleep on the couch, and I figured you'd be more comfortable here. But you got pretty clingy in your sleep..." she whispered, letting the implication hang in the air.

Izuko's mind was spinning, the memories of her bizarre dream blending with reality. "S-So... we didn't..." she trailed off, too embarrassed to even say the words.

Sarah let out a soft laugh, her fingers gently brushing a strand of hair from Izuko's flushed face. "No, silly. We didn't. But..." she leaned back, giving Izuko a playful wink. "You did get pretty handsy in your sleep."

Izuko wanted to disappear into the bed, the embarrassment too much to handle. "I-I did not!" she protested, her voice coming out in a squeak.

"Mm-hmm," Sarah hummed, clearly enjoying this way too much. "If you say so."

Izuko buried her face in her hands, wishing she could melt into the sheets.
