Izuko's POV
The dorm pairings had been out for a while now, and everyone was getting settled into their rooms. But the campus wasn't just buzzing with excitement anymore—there was an undercurrent of tension.
It started with whispered rumors. Rosé had been seen with Lisa, and Jennie hadn't looked too thrilled about it. Not your typical college drama, Izuko thought. But when Avy started acting off, Izuko's curiosity kicked in.
That evening, as Izuko and Alv caught up on everything, the pieces of a bigger puzzle started falling into place.
"Avy's been acting weird," Alv said, leaning back on her bed. "She's avoiding Jennie—and I think something's going on between Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa."
Izuko frowned. "Like...a love triangle?"
Alv nodded. "Jennie's dating Rosé and Lisa. The twist? Avy knew about it the whole time."
Izuko sat up straighter, her eyes widening. "Wait, what? Jennie's with both of them?"
"Yep, and something went down recently. No one's really sure what, but the tension is thick. I overheard Jennie and Lisa arguing earlier, but Rosé hasn't said a word." Alv sighed. "Avy might know what happened, but she's been suspiciously quiet."
Izuko was stunned. Avy, who was always so upfront with everyone, had kept such a big secret? "Why wouldn't she tell us?"
Alv shrugged, biting her lip. "Maybe it wasn't her place. But something tells me this isn't just about loyalty—there's more to it."
Later That Night
Izuko was in her dorm, messaging Sarah, who was, as usual, ready to flirt despite the serious vibes.
Sarah: So, got any dorm drama, princess? 😘
Izuko: Oh, you have NO idea. There's some serious tea brewing with Jennie, Rosé, Lisa, and Avy. 😳
Sarah: Now THAT sounds juicy. Tell me everything.
Izuko: Apparently, Jennie's dating both Rosé and Lisa, and something went down. Avy's been acting weird, and she knows about it.
Sarah: Wait... WHAT?! Jennie with BOTH of them? Dang, I didn't see that coming.
Izuko: Neither did I. Alv said she overheard Jennie and Lisa fighting. I have a bad feeling this is going to blow up soon.
Sarah: Oooooh, sounds like Avy's caught in the middle. What are you going to do? 👀
Izuko sighed, looking at her phone. This wasn't her problem to fix, but her protective instincts were kicking in. "I don't know," she whispered to herself, "but this is definitely not going to end quietly."
The Next Day
The morning passed in a blur. Izuko couldn't help but notice the tension between Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa in class. They weren't sitting together, and Avy looked like she was walking on eggshells. Something was definitely brewing beneath the surface.
After class, Avy cornered Izuko by the lockers, her expression unreadable.
"Izu," Avy began, her voice low, "you need to stay out of this."
Izuko blinked. "Out of what? Avy, what's going on?"
Avy sighed. "There's more to Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa's relationship than anyone knows. I'm telling you, just... don't get involved. It's not safe."
Izuko frowned. "Safe? What do you mean?"
But before Avy could respond, Jennie stormed past them, her eyes red and puffy, with Lisa trailing behind, trying to catch up. Rosé was nowhere to be seen.
Izuko exchanged a glance with Avy. "This is going to blow up, isn't it?"
Avy just nodded, her expression grim. "And when it does, you're going to see just how deep this goes."
Later That Evening
The whispers had turned into full-blown rumors. The whole campus was talking about Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé. But no one knew the full story—except maybe Avy. Izuko was torn between staying out of it and protecting her friends. If something went down, she wanted to be there for Avy and the others.
She was texting Sarah when the conversation took a more serious turn.
Sarah: You're worried about Avy, aren't you?
Izuko: Yeah, something's off. She's in too deep with whatever's going on between Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé.
Sarah: You think she's hiding something bigger?
Izuko: Maybe. She warned me to stay out of it, but now I'm more curious than ever.
Sarah: Well, I'll be here, watching the drama unfold with popcorn in hand. But seriously, I've got your back if you need me. ❤️
Izuko smiled at Sarah's message, but the unease didn't leave her. Whatever was coming, it wasn't going to be pretty.
