Izuko's POV

The atmosphere on campus was thick with anticipation, like the calm before a storm. Every whispered rumor seemed to magnify the tension, and it felt like a bubble ready to burst. As Izuko walked through the halls, she couldn't shake the feeling that something significant was about to happen.

The Morning Classes

In class, Izuko sat next to Alv, who was nervously tapping her pen against her notebook. The clock ticked loudly, each second feeling like an eternity. Avy was unusually quiet, her eyes darting around the room as if she were waiting for something—or someone.

"Did you hear what happened last night?" Alv whispered, leaning in closer.

Izuko shook her head. "No, what?"

"I overheard some girls talking in the cafeteria. Apparently, Jennie and Lisa had a huge fight. It was all about Rosé," Alv said, her eyes wide with intrigue. "Like, things got really heated."

Izuko's heart raced. "What did they say?"

Alv leaned closer, her voice barely above a whisper. "Someone mentioned that Jennie found texts between Lisa and Rosé that were... well, let's just say they weren't exactly friendly. They think she's hiding something."

Before Izuko could respond, Avy glanced over her shoulder, her expression tense. "Can we not talk about it here?" she murmured.

Izuko nodded, feeling the weight of Avy's anxiety. "Right. Let's keep it down."

After Class

As they left the classroom, Izuko couldn't help but notice Jennie standing by the lockers, her arms crossed tightly over her chest, radiating anger and frustration. Lisa was pacing nearby, her hands running through her hair, looking equally upset. It was a recipe for disaster.

"Do you think we should go talk to them?" Alv asked, her eyes darting between Izuko and Avy.

Izuko hesitated. "Maybe we should let them cool off first."

But before she could finish her thought, Avy stepped forward, determination in her eyes. "No. We need to know what's going on."

Izuko and Alv exchanged worried glances but followed Avy anyway.

Confronting the Truth

As they approached, Jennie looked up, her eyes locking onto Avy's. "What do you want?" she snapped, her voice sharp.

Avy took a breath. "We want to help. What's going on between you, Lisa, and Rosé?"

Lisa scoffed. "Help? You want to help with what? Ruin our lives?"

Izuko stepped in. "That's not what we meant. We're just worried about you all. This situation sounds intense."

Jennie's expression softened slightly, but the hurt was evident. "You have no idea how intense it is. I thought I could trust Lisa and Rosé, but now everything feels like a betrayal."

Avy frowned. "Betrayal? What do you mean?"

Jennie sighed, looking defeated. "I found out Lisa was texting Rosé behind my back, and they were planning something I didn't know about. I confronted her, and it... it didn't go well."

Izuko exchanged a glance with Alv, realizing the depth of the situation. "Have you talked to Rosé about it?"

Jennie shook her head. "Not yet. I don't even know if I want to."

The Calm Before the Chaos

The tension in the air was palpable as they stood there, each girl grappling with their emotions. Avy stepped forward, her voice softening. "Jennie, maybe you should talk to Rosé. Clear the air before it gets worse."

Lisa crossed her arms, her expression defensive. "Easier said than done."

"Look," Izuko said, trying to mediate. "We're all friends here. We can help each other through this. It doesn't have to end badly."

Jennie looked at the group, a flicker of hope in her eyes. "Maybe you're right. But it's going to take a lot to fix this."

Just then, Rosé appeared around the corner, her face pale. "Jennie! We need to talk."

Izuko felt the tension spike again as the two girls stared at each other, both on the brink of breaking.

The Confrontation

Izuko, Alv, and Avy stepped back, giving them space. Izuko's heart raced as she watched the confrontation unfold.

"Jennie, I never meant for you to find out like this," Rosé said, her voice shaking.

"Then why didn't you just tell me?" Jennie shot back, tears brimming in her eyes. "I thought we were supposed to be honest with each other."

"I was scared! I didn't know how you'd react," Rosé admitted, her voice cracking.

"Scared of what? Losing me? Because that's exactly what's happening!" Jennie cried, her emotions spilling over.

Izuko could see Alv and Avy holding their breath, the atmosphere thickening with unspoken words and unresolved feelings.

"Let's just sit down and talk this through," Avy suggested, trying to mediate once more.

The four girls gathered in a corner of the hallway, emotions running high. Izuko felt the weight of their turmoil, knowing that whatever happened next would either mend their friendships or break them apart forever.
