Izuko was still buzzing from the previous day's hangout with Sarah. She should've been working on her next project, but instead, she found herself lounging on her bed, scrolling through the pictures they had taken. They'd laughed a lot, taken tons of goofy selfies, and even a few artsy shots. One stood out—the sunset picture, where Sarah had her arm casually draped around Izuko's shoulder, smiling with an expression that made Izuko's stomach do somersaults.
Before she could process what she was feeling, a notification popped up on her screen.
Sarah: Bet you're looking at our pics again.
Izuko groaned, biting her lip. How the hell did Sarah always know?
Izuko: Why are you like this?
Sarah: Because I know you, Izu.
Izuko: I swear you plan this shit just to mess with me.
Sarah: Maybe...I like seeing you flustered.
Izuko felt her cheeks burn. She was not letting Sarah win this time.
Izuko: Careful, Sarah. You keep this up, and you'll have a problem.
Sarah: What kind of problem?
Izuko: The kind where I out-flirt you.
Sarah: Big talk, Izu. Try me.
