Chapter 9 He needs you, and I think you needed him too

WhileGlen and Alina brought Charles to his home, feeling down Axe never spoke toLucas, Bushin, Skylar and his team sticked with him as always, while Jordansits beside Lynn by the river, feeling pitiful for him. 

Casper and Terranjoined along and sat with them. 10 minutes later Lynn wonders where Sid was,then Casper answered, "She's busy with other things." Lynn becomes suspiciousof him when she saw him smiling too much. 

And then she figured out "I knew it""Knew what?" 

he stuttered "I know you have a crush on her even up till now" Casper's face turned red and hides it. 

Jordan then walks to Casper and tellshim to have a little conversation with him. Meanwhile Commander Kaius did whatRigel Rogue asked. He gave the info to Ven Kage and as he was studying it, hesees more than what's on the page itself. 

He also learned something else iscoming for them "We have to go now!" Ven yelled with urgency "Wait what's goingon" Kaius questioned. While packing Kaius' weapons Ven starts answering "He iscoming for them, and he is very hungry for power" 

Who was it?" Kaius questioned 

"An Enemy I knew for a long time during the war is here to consume them. Hisname is Damian Devil, and I don't know how he'" 

"Man I thought he died weeksago" Commander Kaius eventually realizes he's after Glen, so he zooms to thepod turns it on and maximizes the speed to go to earth before Damian does. 

Above the tree branches Jordan tries to convince Casper to Confess Sid hisfeelings for her, but he refuses multiple times. Until that moment Sid foundthem, by hearing their argument. "Hey guys" her voice shocked him so hard healmost fell, thankfully Sid saved him from hitting the ground using her ghostlypowers. 

Casper appears to be on her arms and immediately faints. Sid getsconfused there, then she turns to Jordan "Is he alright?" he told her that heusually does that, but Sid founds out why. She then brings him to the groundgently. Lynn while feeling a little bad throws a rock on river. 

She thoughtshe'd be happy that her school was already fixed, instead something else wasringing inside her head, then she heard Casper who gained consciousness talkingto Jordan saying "Ok fine, but hey you're gonna go talk to Lynn right" 

Casperpersuaded Jordan to go to Lynn, so he did. Lynn smiles but her mood wasn'tlightened up when Jordan came. "Hi" she greeted with sadness "Hey" Jordangreeted back. As Lynn sees her scars, she had thoughts that are stuck insideher head. It hurts her bad that she could even feel their pain. 

Jordan sat nextto her, and he said "Don't worry about it I'm sure they'll understand" Lynnturns her head away and respond "It's not that" Jordan later stays quiet sothings won't get even worse for Lynn as he gives her time to calm down, andafter 5 seconds she said "I didn't say anything to them because the truth is, Idon't want my dad and Freddie to worry about me, I didn't want anyone to worryabout me when I fight my own battles. Even you. I just don't want you all toget hurt. I don't want to get hurt either" 

Despite not having any visionsJordan could feel her pain by knowing what she's been through since she left,and then he speaks kindly, "You know... I can relate. I was always hiding myemotions from my mom because I didn't want her to worry as well. It also hurtsme when I lied to Glen about his biological father." Jordan wrapped his legswith his arms, and he takes his time. 

Something hits Lynn and makes her realize"I get it now." 

"What?" 

She reaches to the sky as she talks "Despite all yourefforts in protecting those you know and love, you'll only lose them instead."Eventually Lynn noticed "And I am thinking, you're so worried about Glen somuch that you were looking after him like a big brother, just like you lookafter Emily. Although you taught him well." You also lie to your mom becauseyou don't want her to feel upset. But there I now know, it's not wrong to opento others when you need to" 

Jordan throws a rock to the river, and then hementioned his plan "I also went to Highlands Horizon just to see you." 

"Why?"Lynn asks. 

Jordan threw another rock to the river he answered, "I thought thatas we grow apart for a long time, we won't remember each other as friendsanymore. Guess I just missed you" 

Lynn looks at Jordan first, then looks downas she replied "It's ok. I miss you too." Lynn holds onto Jordan's hand andkisses him on his lips. 

He didn't know what just got him, but he just froze forabout 3 seconds. "I knew it!" Glen's loud voice surprised Jordan, making himblush and yell in denial "Glen She's not My girlfriend" Lynn looks away andchuckles when Glen teases him about it. Lucas behind the trees watches thethree having a good time, he smiles seeing their friendships despite theirarguments, then suddenly a familiar dull voice from behind called him 

"Hey Lucas"he turns around and sees Lydia glancing on the tree. Lucas closed his fisttightly like he had the urge to punch her, but he knows better than that, so hetries to speak "Welp I finally get to see you sis after a long time"

 "So all Ihave to say now is I'm glad you're here, and sorry for fighting you a while agoin Highlands Horizon." Lydia finished as she walked straight to Lucas and hugshim replying "I'm happy to see you too" 

Seconds after their reunion Axe feltglad not just because he found Lydia's brother, but he brought them backtogether like he promised Lucas. 2 Hours ago, Axe was able to reach Lydia'ssignal in the sphere ship, emotionless she got the call from her friend andanswered it. "What do you want Axe" 

Axe on the phone sighs and starts talking"I learned about what you've been through since your mom passed away. Butleaving like this doesn't make it any better" Lydia holds the hologram, throwsit and she said, "It's too late Axe I lost everyone you don't know what itfeels like" Lydia paused for 5 seconds to stay focused on the mission and sheyelled again "Unlike you I lost everyone" Axe said in a tranquil tone "No it'snot you didn't lose everyone you cared about, he needs you now and I think youneeded him too" 

All surprised Lydia thinks it's impossible she froze like astatue for a while and have second thoughts thus going back home to see herbrother and friend. After Axe had a little flashback, he found Lydia standingin front of him trying to at least talk. He takes one glare at her, and he saidrudely "I hope your happy Lydia, it's not like you had a good time when I'maround" after that Axe left just like she did. Lydia looked down and punchedthe ground while trying to hide her tears. Lucas' smiled disappeared seeingthem reunite but in a really upsetting way, he's just as sad as Lydia wasseeing Axe's anger in his face.
