While everyone successfully escapes from The Deceivers ambush unleashed on Lynn and Sasha, they still couldn't find out how to beat Eternal from finishing his plans, until one day Bernard explained why they're guarding the life pendant it. "Guys you won't believe me if I tell you this." "This pendant doesn't just possess powers of its own, but it can do anything it's wielder wants with it unlike the other pendants you guys have been talking about, plus it's beyond anyone's understanding If Eternal uses it combined with his desire, he can control all life."
"How did you-"
"I hear a lot of talks about the pendant, but the way I sum it up could be true." Bernard replied to Lucas before he could ask. Lucas didn't know he could be this sneaky.
Sometime after The Eldest explains to Jordan and Bushin how to beat Eternal, Lynn went back to Earth in the North Pole sitting on the snow while watching the beautiful auroras in the sky, she thought it could clear her thoughts about Fredrick's soul calling for help until it vanished so soon, then on that night Jordan sat next to her. "Lynn. Are you okay?" Jordan asked calmly. "Yeah."
"Are you sure?"
"Uh-huh" Lynn nodded making sure that she's feeling better, although Jordan is sure something is bothering her. He just doesn't know what it is besides knowing her rage about her brother which was already gone. This is when Jordan stands up and gives her some space by leaving her alone. Charlotte who comes to thank Lynn for helping her find Toby notices the look on her face. Lynn's eyes look down in sadness, even worse than it was. "Lynn, I know something's been bothering you for days. Please don't hide it. Whatever it is we can help you."
"So, you want to know huh." Lynn said sadly, and Charlotte nods.
"I don't know how I feel even until today. I don't know why I'm feeling emotions I'm don't want to feel, and I don't even know why they hurt me so bad. Now I know."
"Know what?" Charlotte asked with wonder
"And... I'm not sure, probably I feel all of them."
"Huh" Charlotte didn't understand what Lynn meant, then Lynn apologized for confusing her, "Oh sorry. That's just one of Jordan's riddles." "I'm afraid...Of what's going to happen next, I left all my friends to live my own story, I lost almost all my family, Jordan will be leaving soon and now I'm stuck here thinking about it. Why does it have to be so hard?"
"Because life isn't about going the easy way." Charlotte replied. "There will always be difficulties no matter which path you have to take, which decisions to choose or what kind of life you have to live
in. The sad truth is not everything goes your way, especially when it comes to how you're feeling."
"You know it would really be nice for you to share your thoughts and feelings to others in the Sharing Circle." Charlotte replied
"Sharing What"
"Sharing Circle, the one Bushin made, and our friends are doing it right now" Lynn starts thinking about it and she agrees to join in with Charlotte. Lynn and Charlotte found their friends in a tent grouped in a circle around as one of them shares their memories.
"There is this one time where my best buddy Luis and I tried helping out Dawn on the school uniform that was completely covered in mud by some doodads. Too bad it was destroyed by another doodad when he painted it pink. That's when I decided to cheer her up, but then Luis puts a dress on me, I got so embarrassed that I was like come on dude, I can't go out looking like this, and then he was like. Come on man that dress looks good on you" What Dusk told them had most of his friends laughing, while Skylar laughed the hardest. Dusk told them that it was one of his favorite memories, but the memories he has with Dawn made him happier and it was sad to know they will go separate ways.
