Chapter 9 Rematch

Lynn flew after Sasha calling her, but she didn't listen, and she suddenly stopped when Lynn yelled out her name "Sasha!" Lynn flew slowly to her big sister after chasing and she said to her "Sis. You have to calm down"

"Well how can I calm down if something's wrong. Bushin might be hurt or- I don't know."

"I get that you care but you shouldn't rush off like that. you know how that feels I can't lose you." Lynn tried talking sense to Sasha, but she started raging, the blue lightning sparked from her hand to her entire body and changed into color red, she got angry she yelled at Lynn.

"you're telling me to calm down right!? Well guess what you should too! Charlotte and I knew something off about you since the moment we got out to find Toby, you didn't want to find Toby you wanted to kill your brother. Our brother!"

"If mom were alive, you would've known how ashamed she is to you, because she never raised a child like you and a sister of mine to become such a monster."

Lynn's face expression changes to shame listening to Sasha's words and her enraging tone made her realize her own feelings she focused so much on trying to avenge her father that she didn't realize she had to kill her closest family member, then Lynn started feeling a bit frozen. Sasha's lightning turned blue again "Wait Lynn I'm sorry I-I didn't mean to yell at you like that. Lynn starts explaining herself her feelings in front of Sasha

"I can't believe myself. I mean I wanted to hurt Freddie for what he did to dad, but I didn't know I would let that rage out of me like that. At first it was the first emotion I've ever felt, but now-"

"You didn't have the urge to do so, because you love him." Sasha finished for her.

Then it hit her, suddenly she started realizing something and Lynn found out what Jordan's riddle meant. "Time is a maze of different events, you thought so much of it that you get lost" she said it silently, but Sasha clearly heard it. "I-I get it now" Lynn thought as she her eyes

"He told me this riddle." Lynn's realization hits her harder than a baseball bat could. She thought to herself that she's stuck in the past that she forgot to focus on right now. Lynn now knows the reason why her father died is not because Fredrick killed him but because she failed to go down sooner and save him to prevent it from happening.

"Lynn." Said Sasha in a gentle voice as she approaches to Lynn and hugs her. "I know how that feels, the anger, the hatred, the pain. All those kinds of emotions make it easier for us to blame someone else than to admit that it was our own fault. Jordan probably told you this and let you figure it out on your own because he knows what they can do to you, and he wanted you to learn that it can only make you do things you'll one day regret. It also made me do things I regretted too, like yelling at you that's for sure, so I won't let my rage get the best of me ever again, or at least not again."

"Your right" Lynn admitted. "By the way you did overreact he said Bushin like something bad is about to happen to him." Sasha gulped at the words Lynn said to her. Her face turns red, but she manages to hide it. "U-uh it's nothing I just thought I'd came by to see if he's alright."

"Wait, so you like him?" Lynn's eyes widen saying that once she noticed the blush on her sister's face

"What? No!" "We're just friends Lynn plus I lost a friend close to us once, and I can't afford to lose him."

A huge asteroid suddenly fired towards Lynn and Sasha as it is about to hit them, right before Betty crawled around Sasha and Lynn and forms a shield. Lynn got surprised at the sight of the snake protecting them, Betty looked at her in the eye and hissed Lynn heard her in her head saying, "Go now friend I'll hold that thing off." Instead of going away, Lynn and Sasha joined Betty and helped. This made the enormous snake think that they're not so bad at all, initially she wanted to eat them.

"Wait why are you helping us?"

Betty hissed again making Lynn hear her in her head "Because like me... you are Willow's friends, and sorry I attacked earlier." There Lynn and Sasha fought side by side against the Deceivers, Brother Solar came in with the attack, then Lynn shot her arrow at the solar blast. When Lynn's eyes turn yellow Sasha sees that her powers have evolved along with her crimson aura flowing around her, and because of this, Brother Solar chuckled. So, he chose to attack Lynn first, but Sasha stopped him from going after her sister and fought him instead. Lynn encountered Fredrick once again only now he wasn't himself, "Sup bro miss me"

"Not quite" Fredrick's voice changed saying this. "You'll die anyway." Before they could fight an axe covered in lightning flew past by and interfered like a boomerang, Lynn and Fredrick looked at the right and saw that Axe threw it, "Nice throw Axe." Complimented Fredrick. Lynn began with her first hit, then Fredrick flew off and attacks from her back, only to see that it's just a clone. Off guard Fredrick's been hit by Lynn's arrows. Lynn then created a sword using her energy and she doubled its damage by using her crimson aura making the swords blade more dangerous. "Good." Chuckled Fredrick. "Use your power" Lynn and Fredrick fought in combat harder than they did earlier, both siblings give it their all as they fight to determine which of them is stronger. Axe swindles by to help Lydia fighting Sister Scarlet and Brother Cerberus, Lucas suits up and joins in the fight, Dusk and Dawn teams up against Brother Blade. During their first encounter Brother Blade is a very impressive and skilled swordsman and a powerful Wielder of his powers that defeated them in one swing of his sword. Dusk and Dawn went separate ways to distract him, but he summons his shadow remnant of himself and battles Dusk head-to-head until Glen got in the way and slaughtered it in half. That's when Brother Blade dashed directly to Glen pushing him to a different part of space. They fought well against one another, with skill, intelligence, and power. Blade swiftly spun him away and slashed him vertically before realizing it's just a clone. Glen with his newly evolved powers struck him down like it was nothing. Then Brother Blade gets up and increases his guard up, Glen swiftly dashes like in sonic speed while Blade blocks every fast move. Back with Lynn and Fredrick fighting, she starts seeing her brother's spirit calling to her as she kept blocking Fredrick's attacks, then on his final energy blast, Lynn fabricates an invisible dome and closes her eyes bracing for impact before it completely demolished it to bits, Jordan while fighting alongside his sister Emily who is flying a ship heard a loud boom, realized that Lynn just blew up and flew through the smoke. Fredrick smiles thinking he won. But then a photon blasts at him before he could react. Fredrick peeks at the explosion as the smoke clears and saw that no one is there inside it.

"What!?" Fredrick was shocked, then he looked around and all of her friends and allies are gone too, Argus was stunned knowing that they've been tricked. His white aura flows as he uses his time powers to envision what had happened. There he learns that while fighting against Toby he uses his glitched eyes, so he won't sense them escaping. "Argh!" Brother Cerberus growled. A portal appears behind the Deceivers and Eternal appears out of it watching the void of space in front of him and scowled.

"My Lord" said Sister Night Fox "We failed to capture them like you told us to."

"Forget those insignificant creatures, they're not important to me anymore." "We have a plan to execute, and I'll need you Diabolos to help me" Eternal said to his followers as he pointed at Fredrick who was no longer the man he used to be.

While everyone else returned to their home base Aurora, Sasha and Lynn shifted right to Frost Storm where Bushin practices his psychic with Lucinda. Once they arrived the first thing Sasha does is to run to him quickly which took her younger sister by surprise. Bushin could hear footsteps of snow rushing towards him, while the sound grew louder and louder, he turns around with shock to see his friend running to him.

"Sasha?" Bushin muttered "How did you-" before he could finish, Sasha grabbed Bushin by his shoulder, pulled him to her and hugged him tightly. Tears fell out as she closed her eyes, she is glad, but she is crying because of worry of his life. Bushin warmly smiles, and hugs back. Between the two back together again, are Lucinda and Lynn, they saw Bushin & Sasha's strong feelings for each other, and felt glad they are both okay.

But in Lynn's own thoughts, she could see her big sister inside herself. Realizing that she got full of rage for loved ones she truly care about.
