Chapter 8 Axe and Lydia's backstory

Toby remains patient sitting on a rock while Axe digs the ground looking for something valuable to him, Axe saw the gift box, he buried years ago, but he decides to cover it again. While Axe buried it, they both heard an eerie noise in the woods, they don't know where it comes from, but they prepared themselves for a it might be a predator, a light ignited behind alerted them causing Axe to throw his weapon (axe) at it. Just as it disappears the light moved and yelp which was quite confusing unless it was just a person. 

Axe lowered his weapons and his rope; Toby just sits down on a rock as if everything is just ok. It was the first time they met Lucas wandering in the forest, after that they become friends. 

They talk, they tell stories, they laugh, they even spend most of their time in the forest. Then one night Lucas discovered a gift box when he fell into a hole, curiously he called "Axe that's your gift box right?" Axe and Toby helped him get out of it, Axe grabbed it from Lucas and was about to throw it, but now that he found out, Axe sighed angrily "Alright I'll show you" Axe opened the gift box and showed Lucas a headphone inside, Lucas didn't quite get it until Axe indicated "This headphone belonged to Lydia" Lucas became familiar with that name he takes his time to remember, then when he finally caught that moment, he spoke in disbelief "That's impossible. My dad said she died along with my mom ever since I was born!" 

Axe realized that Lucas was the brother Lydia was talking to him about since they were kids. Lucas grabbed his shirt tightly and shouted, "How did you know her?!" Axe asked him to put his hands away so he can answer. Lucas lets go and lets him answer his question "Lydia and I were friends since grade 3, we're actually best friends" After knowing the answer Lucas replied, "This means you know what happened to her right?" Axe didn't want to feel hurt when he answered his next question, but he had no choice. "Well... Lydia said that she'll move to L.A. Los Angeles." Axe then pointed the gift box "I was going to give that to her a present for her birthday, but when I found out she's leaving, I just hid it from her I didn't want to tell her something that might hold her back, but then she hugged me and said her promise.

I'll be back. I promise

Axe shed a tear and wipes it off his eye while he said as his mood changes "So when months past I still keep that present with me and started waiting and waiting for her return. Then after a year I learned that Lydia won't come back. I realized she broke her promise, it angers me so much that I destroyed everything we both created except the gift box"

Lucasstarted feeling gloomy not only because of his sister and Axe's brokenfriendship, but he learned that his father lied to him after all these years,he also found out that divorce papers belong to his parents he cried when thetruth came out with only a thought. 

On the Bright side for Axe, it's not toolate to bring a lost family member back. He said to Lucas "But whatever reasonthat is, it doesn't matter to me anymore. I'll bring you both back together Ipromise" Jordan walking through the dark overheard this and he felt sorry for Lucasand Axe. So did Terran, Casper and Bushin but Lucas' feelings will be more hurtif they tell him Rogue Rigel's identity. Terran decides to go home quickly, sohe flew away, While Bushin, Jordan and Casper stay with Lucas and Axe. In adark forest they walked into Bushin's team cabin where they meet Willow,Skylar, Mike, and the Twins. Lucas Casper and Jordan froze in shock to see theinside of it, everything looks organized made from wood. Toby walked past bythem and speaks with his gentle tone "First time?" "You have the same reactionas your cousins Jordan" then he talked right back in confusion. 

"Wait I havecousins?" 

Toby shrugged and walked away. Jordan meets his cousins Dusk and Dawnfor the first time, eventually they became friends Jordan and his friends alsobecome friends with him even with Willow who always keeps her mouth shut.Meanwhile in a sphere like spaceship, a shuttle traveled towards it and zoomsin huge doorway. 

A soldier walked into a cold room where Rogue Rigel usuallyspends her time learning to use her blue flaring powers without being burntalive. A soldier disturbs her as he called "Ma'am... Commander Kaius came to seeyou" the swirling flare disappeared when her eyes opened, she stands up andputs on her headphone which turns into a helmet. Commander Kaius walked intothe meeting room and starts waiting in there, he hoped all that information hegained about the plan was worth her time. Rogue Rigel walked forward as thedoor automatically opened. She stopped once she got close to Kaius who standsstill without showing any fear. "Commander Kaius" "Madame Rouge" They had alittle discussion about the new guardians, but mostly about Glen, Jordan andBushin. Commander Kaius seems frightened when he witnessed such abilitieswithin. He slammed both his hands on the table and speaks "Well at least we didwhat we need to do, Now I'll just send this info to the Supreme leader." Shereminded Kaius in an intimidating way as he walks to the shuttle "Not yetKaius" Just as Rogue Rigel flicked her finger, blue flare surrounded thedoorknob before Kaius could touch it, then it faded as she instructed him "Sendthat information to the former emperor, he knows them way more about them thanthe Supreme leader, so he could send to the GPSF to protect them but be carefulnot to expose our secret mission. Whatever that is our enemy will come for ustoo." Commander Kaius left and followed the instructions. As for Rogue Rigelshe first sealed the doors shut and activated the ship's camouflage, next shenavigated planet earth to see that everything was going well according to plan,both schools destroyed was only the beginning of it. 

Rogue Rigel's helmetbecomes a headphone once she removes it off her head, Rigel Rogue's real faceis a girl with indigo hair and a black eye on her. The next day Glen and Alinamet Axe's disabled little brother Charles on a sidewalk sitting on a wheelchairdoing nothing, many children mocked him because of that, but he was lucky tohave friends like Glen and Alina, they always make him strong even in darktimes. One day they Glen and Alina asked their parents if they can have theirlittle trip in the forest with Stuart. and they accept it however they tellthem to be home right away otherwise they'll be grounded. While Stuart wasreloading his shotgun, Glen, Alina, and Charles passed by a river to the placewhere Jordan and Lynn met as kids. Charles took pictures of the trees toremember places he has been to. "I better get back before my brother realizesI'm gone" he said, Alina looks at Charles and she promised "We'll get you homeas soon as we could" 

Then she looks at Glen searching for knowledge about hisdark power that corrupted him. "It's just that Glen had to run a few errands ofhis own" Alina was worried about him since Jordan told her his story back then,she didn't want to make him feel lonely, she didn't want to lie to him either.So, she took deep breaths and chose to tell him the truth instead because sheknows she can't lie to him anymore, suddenly the sound of the rollerbladessaved her from doing so and at the same time alerted them. The shadow figurebehind looks a lot like Rigel Rogue, she rushed fast like a ninja except withrollerblades and attempts to kidnap Glen first, luckily Axe got in her way bythrowing his sword at her and pushing her against the bark, 

Rogue Rigel burnedAxes arm by grabbing onto it then pins him down rapidly on the ground. Alina'sarms turned into roots to tie her up for good, Rogue Rigel breaks it throughwith her hands, she disappeared and reappeared behind Alina putting a knife onher neck and grabbing both her hands. Glen jumped to Rogue Rigel and gottrapped in an orb, resisting him from attacking. Charles came to save them;however, Charles fell of his wheelchair when he tried to. Rogue Rigel did whatshe had to do when she came here so she puts her knife closer. Glen enraged andbroke free, resulting an intense activation of his powers. 

He recklessly kickedRigel Rogue, since that happened his powers just kept growing as his Aura glowsin him. Rogue Rigel saw what she needed to see. But she held back when Glenstrikes. Lynn and Jordan stopped him from hitting Rogue Rigel, preventing himfrom pushing too hard. Rigel Rogue stands up and says, "I only came for what Ineed to see." Then she mentions "Your skills and powers, I have seen enough fortoday oh and sorry for all my inconveniences." When she turned away with noregrets. 

Axe grabs her wrist before she noticed it. "Please... Remove yourhelmet" Axe pleaded. Rigel Rogue didn't want to reveal her face, but she knewshe can't hide it forever, so she removed her helmet that into her headphone,revealing her true self to him. Axe knew what he saw in his two own eyes, buthe didn't want to believe Lydia was the enemy all along. Axe spoke "Lydia? Why"She then turned away and left without a word
