Chapter 12 We fall just to rise again

The next day in Aurora, the sunrises from the bottom part of the ice floors, Jordan watches the Aurora's while having thoughts about his brother. Casper found Jordan sitting on the ice floor and walks to him, then he sat next to him saying in amazement "Auroras am I right? They're beautiful"

"Yeah." Jordan agreed. "I never saw them on daytime before, but it is." Casper lifted his head up to watch the Auroras with amazement, he has never known how beautiful that place is. Casper turned his head to Jordan only to ask him "When are going to tell your Ellen?" Jordan's thoughts suddenly disappeared, he was shocked to know that Ellen is looking for Apollo, so he reacted quickly by saying "Maybe if I'm ready to."

"You can't hide that forever from your own niece." Said Casper as he stood up and walked away." When Ellen walks past by Casper, she saw Jordan watching the Auroras on the sky. Jordan looking down heard Ellen behind him ask "Uncle J?" Jordan turned his head to her who appears to be looking at him with worried eyes. "Have you seen dad?" "He promised me that he'll come back like he always does." Jordan paused for a little while having flashbacks about Apollo from his childhood to the time when he died. As a child Jordan used to love Apollo as his brother, but he always avoided him, unlike when his sister Emily loved him, but after some time when he yelled at him, Jordan developed his hatred of him, all these years until his big brother made amends with him, and therefore they got along as brothers." Those are the only good memories Jordan will remember of him. The look on his face showed Ellen, made her realize something. "Dad's gone, isn't he?" she guessed in with a sad tone of her voice.

Jordan nodded his head and said sorrowfully "Yes. He's gone. I'm sorry about your dad" Ellen ran to him and hugged him crying over her first loss. Jordan hugged back to comfort her. He could hear her cry even though it was silent, Jordan wiped her tears and he promised to her "Ellen no matter what happens, I'll always be here for you, like I was with Aunt Emily, and Glen. Later Jordan puts the cross beside Apollo's childhood home in planet Aurora. Apollo's friends, Family, everyone Apollo knew, and love joined the funeral, and Jordan made a speech to honor his death, sacrifice, selflessness kindness and courage, and went to earth with Lynn, Sid, Casper, Terran and Sasha and attend Chris' funeral.

After the funeral everyone left except Jordan. It has been 5 hours and he still didn't leave Jordan starts feeling cold, colder on the inside than when he started meditating in the North pole. Lynn found Jordan so depressed to leave and went beside him looking at the Cross that says his brother's name. She turned her head to Jordan on her left and asked, wondering how he's feeling "Are you okay?" "Lynn it's okay, I'm fine" he responded. Jordan got colder than ever when his brother died yesterday, he wanted to let his emotions out, but he just felt emotionless like Toby. Suddenly he felt something wrapped around him. It felt warm. That warm feeling came from Lynn hugging Jordan, then he hugged back crying as he tightened his eyes closed. Lynn apologized to him saying "I'm sorry about your brother Jordan, I didn't know." "It's okay I'm sorry about your dad" Said Jordan "And about Star of the descendant" Lynn's eyes widen when she heard that statement, she looked at him and asked, "Wait you know? How?"

"I noticed something odd when I saw you have a glove on your hand. And Lucas and Willow told me about it." Answered Jordan. "How bad is it?" he asked as he grabbed Lynns left arm and checks her palm. Lynn lightly blushed but was able to hide it. Lynn answered in a mutter "I-it's not that bad, it just stings a little bit. When Jordan looked at Lynn, he had thoughts about how she feels after her brother's betrayal when she killed her father whom he failed to bring back. "Are you really going train hard just to kill your brother Lynn?" Jordan thought "I mean he may have done the most horrible way possible but. He's your family. I hope hate isn't all you ever feel" Then his thoughts where interrupted by Casper, Terran, Sid and Lucas, and the rest of his friends approaching to the place where he marked the cross on. Jordan looked back and waved at them. Lucas' smile slowly disappears when he saw the cross realizing that someone has died "What happened?" Lucas asked, "I didn't know that-" Lynn lifted her hand, stopping him from finishing his words, Lynn nodded "I know" Lucas looked at the cross sign he put then looked up to see the house, that belonged to Jordan's brother. Lucas then apologized for his loss, but Jordan said that it's alright even though he really isn't. To keep his hopes up, Terran said to Jordan. "Yo dude. Don't let that loss get the best of you, your brother, your master, your father, and your friend, they really wanted you to be strong, stronger than they'll ever be, and that's what we're gonna to do Jordan if we're ever going to win this next battle. Sure, we lost, but it's not over. We must stay strong for the people who were there for us 'til the end. Sometimes we fall just to rise again, that's why the Fallen Rises no matter how many times we fail." Terran knew that it would get Jordan's hope to rise but what he didn't know is that he gave everyone an inspiration to fight back, it surprised everyone, even himself. "Wow." Said Casper "You really made a good speech."

"He certainly did." Carlisle shocked Jordan and his friends saying that.

"Carlisle?" Sid asked in shock. "What are you doing here?"

"Nothing much." Carlisle responded with his calm tone "I may be temporarily part of the enemy's team, but I can help you guys beat the Deceivers."

"Well..." Thought Jordan. "I don't know if we can trust as our ally, but we'll try our best to. Afterall, you did help us once on our last mission with Glen. Carlisle smirked as he remembered his last mission with his own enemies. He knows it'll take a lot of time getting along, but if it's worth it, then it's fine by him.

"We'll help too." Kurai said

"We?" Lucas repeated.

Kurai referred to his new friends Senator Adam, The Eldest, Lucinda, Jay, Zain, and Ven.
