Meanwhile in the old arena Lucas trains with his sparring partner Willow, While Lydia and Axe are the judges of the fight. Lucas and Willow walk towards each other and then bowed to each other. After Lucas raised his body up straight, he whispered to her "Don't worry Willow, I'll go easy on you." Willow whispered back as a warning. "You don't wanna do that" When their training begin Lucas formed a fist and tried to punch Willow, but she caught it with her right hand, puts it on his chest and then she pushed him lightly but the pressure she put on her hand to push him is so strong Lucas flung off and crashed on the ice walls. Lucas can feel the pain coursing through his body. "Lucas!" Willow ran to him and helped him up asking him in worry "Are you ok?"
"Yeah. I guess" Lucas groaned.
"Typical Lucas" Thought Willow. "When are you gonna learn to be cautious in battle" Lydia asked as she joined the conversation.
"Lids I get that I had to be serious at this but I am. I can't hit Willow" Lucas said with his own honesty "She's the one I'm sparring against" Lynn entered the arena thinking about Jordan's confusing riddle. "Time is a maze of different events you thought so much about it that you got lost," she repeated the same riddle more than twice while walking upstairs and sat down she assumed that if she stayed in the old arena in peace, she could take all her thoughts away and find out the meaning. She repeated the same riddle again and again, only for Willow and the others to listen to it. Lynn kept her eyes close so she could solve the riddle. A voice suddenly made her trip and fall off the seat. She looked up and saw Lydia standing in front of her "You are so weird" Lydia lifted her up as she asked Lynn. "What are you muttering about?" "Nothing" Lynn lied rapidly. "We could literally hear you Lynn, don't hide it from us." Said Lucas sounding like he broke his back. Lynn could feel herself sweating when she saw Lydia staring at her suspiciously, she gulped as she tried to tell them, but in her mind, she kept telling herself not to. "Just like Jordan" Lydia thought with a smirk on her face. "You two are really awful at lying" this made Lynn sighed and told them everything. While walking outside the arena, Axe said Jordan's riddle once while trying to figure out the meaning of it, he assumed that if he repeated the riddle he would find out, but slowly Axe admitted that he didn't know "I got nothing. It doesn't make sense. Why would he ask you in a riddle?"
"I don't know" Lynn replied with doubt "Sure he might be confusing, but whatever reason he told me this, it's just something I need to learn."
"Right" Lucas agreed "You're like the best person in Highlands Horizon, I'm sure you can figure it out"
"Didn't you remember that we all graduated from college?" Reminded Lynn. Lucas smacks his head afterwards and this made Willow giggle. For a short moment Lydia and Lynn noticed it and quickly turned their heads to Willow. Willow quickly hid her face so no one will see her blush, however Lynn and Lydia already knew what's going on. As they walk all the way to the icy burrow, they witness, Sasha striking bolts of lightning at Bushin, while he absorbs it without getting hurt. The Blood mark had been exposed on his right arm but surprisingly he has a new electrical design of it. Once Sasha stops emitting them, Bushin can still feel the electrifying sparks on his hand, but they didn't feel as much painful as they were. Doubtful, Lynn asked out of shock "Sasha. What're you doing?" Sasha sighed and she answered "Bushin told me to strike lightning at him to see if he can handle the amount of electric, I throw at him and it seems that he's improving." "Isn't this suicide?" Lynn asked awkwardly. Sasha made an awkward smile implying that she didn't want to explain. It was said to be one of his families training methods but that is one example of a horrible one. Ven knows that it could kill him if he keeps draining Sasha's electric without knowing how to master the blood mark powers first, so he told Bushin to come with him." And Bushin agreed. Sasha stood there like she's supporting Bushin's decision to follow his father, and when they're both gone. Sasha knelt and sighed in relief "Thank goodness" Said Sasha" He would've died if we keep this up" Lynn chuckled at the fact that her sister was relieved because she didn't want to hurt Bushin, but that feeling Lynn thought Sasha had, it was something else
