Chapter 5 The one who guides.

Jordan couldn't believe his eyes as he witness his friend laying down injured on bed. Shocked, Jordan saw her burnt injuries on both her arms but luckily, they aren't severe. Jordan wished he could stay with Lynn, but he held so many grudges of himself that he walked away. Casper walked past Jordan and immediately saw the look on his eyes leaving him more than concerned of him, he then turns around and follows Jordan on the way. Casper suddenly starts to sneak up on him going to the back of the ship, Jordan was familiar with this room, since he has been in there. It was on their first journey to find Ven and stop his reign. When Jordan sits on the bed and sighed, a ghost appeared scaring both him and Casper. (However, Casper can't see ghosts, so he just yelped because Jordan shouted)

"What the. Don't you have anything else to do Oliver." Jordan then realizes the ghost on his left is the one who saved his life from Black Heart. Riley.

"Oliver, wait you knew him?"

"Yeah." Replied Jordan "We just met 3 hours ago; Bushin told me about him too."

Riley was shocked to hear this and soon became happy that Oliver is here. While Jordan is confused why she's so joyful all of a sudden, Riley happens to be Oliver's best friend, though he couldn't picture their friendship with one another because he's new and was still getting to know him, despite Bushin's little info about him.

As Jordan asks why she's remaining here like Bushin's old friend, Riley told him that she's going to guide him again. Jordan was even more confused when she said the word "again."

Riley looked back at her words and laughed nervously. "Why'd I say that? It would be insane if I did, I mean at first, I saw you as a little boy and now-"

Jordan felt like he's being stalked by Riley which makes him more confused than when she knew Oliver, but then a reminder hit his mind very quickly. Jordan did learn that Riley knows Black Heart 100 years before he did, so first he gets his bag under the bed and placed it beside him, next he pulled out a novel about the story which he discovered a few months ago called The JJ book, he wasn't aware of this, but he decides to read it anyway, one turn of the page and Riley took it, slammed the book shut and threw it away. Jordan began to glare at Riley for throwing the book from him.

"What was that?!" Shouted Jordan

"Where did you find that Journal?" Riley asked back

"Wait that's a journal? I thought that was a novel."

Jordan realized that he was about to read a Journal, except that journal appears to be quite important.

"Whose Journal is this?" Jordan asked.

"It belonged to my friend; he hates it when someone reads his journal." "But don't tell him now, cause I wanna read it too" She whispered.

Casper was so confused when he looked at Jordan talking to a ghost, since it's invisible to him and not to Jordan so he puts on the goggles and saw Riley.

"Well, that was relief" Sighed Casper "It's a good thing I have these, so what are you talking about anyway with that ghost."

"Oh, sorry. It's about the journal, she said it belonged to Oliver."

So, to make things specific for Casper, he himself explained the conversation only to end up finding out Jordan's plans "So you're telling me, that the ghost here happens to be your guide and you wanted to know more about her connection to Black Heart, by reading Oliver's journal?

"Umm... when you put it that way, yes."

"You're insane!" Yelled Casper "Why didn't you tell me this, I know you wanted to defeat Black Heart, but this isn't the time, you're not yet ready for this."

There, Jordan, and Casper began to argue about the whole issue about defeating Black Heart and defeating Eternal, but mostly about Jordan's issues that makes Casper angry. Then one sentence from him ended the whole argument. "I'm not blind Jordan!" "But I am worried."

With that it shows how much Casper really cares as Jordan's friend. Knowing that he's in pain from his brother's death concerns him. Casper told Jordan that everyone gets hurt sometimes, it convinced him to let go of what happened in the past, to forget about Black Heart and his failure to save Chris, Lynn's dad.

Casper is upset though. Like Riley he'll stickwith him until he has fully let go of his pain. To do that Riley suggested themto go on a short adventure with her. And Jordan agreed until she told them thatothers will be going with them.
