The Wind blows strong and loudly, while the weather is cold Jordan waves his goodbyes to his family as this could be his last time to see them. It seems that because of Black Heart's existence and the dangers that he learned are out there he made his decision to cut off his connections from his friends, his family, everyone.
Lynn was the first person to find out Jordan made his choice, and she wasn't happy. "So, it's true, you're really leaving?" she said angrily as she crossed both her arms. Jordan was nervous to tell her with his own words, but he answered with a "Yes" as he nodded his head once.
Lynn knew he would say that, but his tone hits differently when he did. It was all gloomy than usual. Those thoughts she had of him slipped away when Jordan asked politely "What brings you here?"
"Nothing much" Lynn answered.
"I just want to know if you're doing fine." "Riley told me that you've gone to a journey of your own."
"Wait she did" Jordan asked in shock.
"Yeah. She did, though she was in a hurry while pulling my hand (Man that really hurt), and she seems to have known you would plan to do something stupid." It made Jordan laugh quietly.
While the two are having a little talk, Jordan showed the book and turn the pages, but when he did, all of them are blank, especially in Oliver's journal, Jordan begins panic turning them back and forth, and then turning the pages from the first to the last. It was the moment he realize his journey to the River of Grief is worth nothing, because it revealed all the knowledge and answers of how Black Heart can be killed.
"This can't be" Jordan mumbled. "They're all blank?"
When Lynn looks up at him with worry, she told him "It's okay, I think it's best that no one can know everything. Forget it from now on because it doesn't matter."
Jordan's feelings went from shock to disappointment as he grasped onto Oliver Journal, then he shouted loudly and threw away the journal. And as it flew far away to the other side, Riley caught with her hand, though Oliver found out what she's doing earlier than she thought he might've. "Riley." He said to her skeptically "Can you please explain?"
While Jordan and Lynn are talking to each other, Oliver and Riley came to see how the two were doing. They saw that Jordan and Lynn's thoughts began to slip out as they talk, and they start overthinking less. Because of this they also saw the smile on their faces. However, Jordan's smile was first to slowly fade away when Lynn said to him.
"Jordan whatever it is you are really hiding you need to tell me. I mean that's what friends do right?"
"Yeah..." Jordan said silently. Because of this Oliver and Riley noticed something will go wrong.
"It's kind of nice of you." He spoke rudely with his own words, making Lynn confused and ask in case she heard it wrong. Not the words Jordan said to her but how he said those with his own tone.
"What, was that?"
"Nothing of course." Jordan said abruptly. "It's just..."
"Jordan." She interrupted. "It's okay. We'll get through this."
"That's the point" He snapped "It really is not. You think you're strong, didn't you?" Things turned to the exact opposite once Jordan replied out to her loud and clear.
"Come Again?" Lynn started getting angry while she tightened her grip on both of her fists, holding back the anger that wants to pop outside her.
"You even believe that you're strong when the truth is you're not." He said it clearly and it banged Lynn's ears. For the first time Jordan started a fight with his own friend, leading Bushin and Sasha to being the witnesses of this quarrel like Oliver and Riley.
"Really?" exclaimed Lynn "And what makes you think like that?"
"Don't know, well you're a bit raging when you think about it. Nowadays you don't think straight ahead and became very stupid enough to think murdering someone who is her own brother would satisfy her own father!"
"Ha!" "For someone who thinks it's cool to just lock someone up with him instead of letting them go, like some... some... COWARD!"
Bushin and Sasha gasped at the sights of the fight Jordan and Lynn are having, the insults the words that came out and the voices of them yelling, this is the first time they ever have a fight, and the conflict there was insane, and there isn't even a single assault.
They didn't know when they'll stop, so Sasha tries to prevent it herself. But the fight just kept on growing far worse.
"UGGHH!!" Lynn exaggerated "At least I'm not some kind of guy who gets emotionally sensitive over some fights of his own."
"So that's how it is huh?" Jordan shouted back at her.
"You bet that is! I'm sick and tired of you worrying so much and protecting others when all along you were just protecting yourself from getting hurt!"
"Lucky, I don't seek vengeance like a bastard!"
"You are so sick Jordan!" Lynn yelled even louder. "I wished I never met you!"
"Well, I was thinking the same for you Lynn! Things would have been better for me if I hadn't even become friends with you! And Maybe I would have been doing just fine if I hadn't met you in the first place!"
With all the words that have escaped Jordan's lips, Lynn was left with shock. Her frightened eyes and open mouth showed how much anger has reverted to fear and pain. Jordan covered his mouth out of shock while realizing what he had said to her. Oliver, Riley, Bushin and Sasha couldn't believe their eyes as the fight ended in the worst way.
"Then you should've left me to die if that's what you really thought." Cried Lynn "It was nice being with you though. I'm sorry."
As Lynn slowly turns and walks away, Jordan's eyes began to waver whilst wanting to apologize to her but knowing what he told her he decides not to let another word leave his mouth. Sasha got really angry, she walked furiously forward, and she shouted at Jordan.
"Why?! How could you say that to her! YOU ARE HER FRIEND!"
Bushin holds her back tightly, telling her Not to get herself involved and that is not important. Immediately she calmed down, though the next thing she did surprised Bushin. She slapped Jordan on his right cheek out of anger, then she took one deep breath. And speaks "Look, I know I'm mad right now, but I hope you never meant any of those words you said to my sister." After that she looked behind her and then ran after Lynn, passing by Bushin who stared at Jordan in disappointment as he admitted sadly
"Sorry buddy, but I have to agree with her on this one. Even if you didn't mean any of those stuff you said, they are really hurtful." And with that, he walked away from Jordan. But was only one who took a moment to look back out of the 3 friends who have left him, and then he leaves.
After Bushin had gone, Jordan got down on hisknees and punched the snow as hard as he could, in doing so the ground startsrumbling like an earthquake and out of anger on himself, he yelled out so loudthat even Black Heart can hear from afar.
