Ever since it happened, you had blocked C/n on all your socials. You refused to look at him in the hallways or in class no matter how hard he tried to get your attention. Whenever he'd come up to you, wanting to tell you something (probably how stupid you are or how smart he is, you assumed) you'd ignore him, walking by as if he was a ghost you couldn't see.

In a way, he did become a ghost for you. He was no longer a person to you, only someone enjoying other people's suffering.

This seemed to irritate him. Maybe he couldn't comprehend in that idiotic head of his that someone might not like him, that someone is capable of ignoring him - he was usually well liked among everyone. That is, everyone but you.

You could also deem this as a win of sorts - winning in terms of not letting him bother you anymore, not letting him in your life at all. Maybe that was why he was so annoyed with you, because he basically lost this challenge for your attention. When you no longer gave it to him, you felt so much better, and he more and more annoyed.

The tension between you was so thick a knife could cut through the air. Whenever he'd breathe in your direction, the exhalation seemed to crystallize into icy shards prickling your faces. At least, that was what it looked like to the onlookers. To you, there was nothing between you. Everything that there was, the anger, hatred, daunting scores and red paper ink dissipated into thin air since he no longer existed for you.

You only ever focused on yourself and your own knowledge. You never looked at the scores publicly displayed on the notice board after an important exam, only at your own paper.

Oh my god, that boy is so cute!

Let me kiss him!

No, don't take that away! Wanna drink more!

Ain't that C/n???

Hehehe, let's say hi. Let's see what dance moves he's got in him.

You moved through the crowd of sweaty bodies, all swaying drunkenly to the music played from the speaker. Your state wasn't any better, you were even more drunk, to be honest. The world spun when you walked and someone ripped the plastic cup tightly clutched in your hand away from you, claiming you had had enough to drink for the night.

You didn't think so. You wanted more. And you also wanted that boy on the other side of the room, standing alone. He had h/c hair and a tall figure, resembling C/n way too much.

All the while bumping into dancing people, drinks spilling on the ground, laughing mixed with crying and someone vomiting in the bathroom, the person you neared seemed more and more like C/n with every step you took closer.

I didn't know C/n looked this cute!

I want more vodka!

Hehehe, this is so fun!!!

You tripped over your own leg and collided with C/n's strong body. His arms flew up to steady you, placing them firmly on your arms.

"Hiiiiii," you giggled at him. "Just so you knooow, even though you this cuutee," you tapped him on his head, "doesn't mean I stiiiill doooon't like youu." You laughed. "I meaan, I don't like youuu. At aaaall." You waved your finger at him from side to side. Noticing an abandoned cup on the window sill near you, you took it and gulped down its remaining content. Vodka burned down your throat and spread warmth in your chest.

"Why do you have to get such goooood grades aaall the tiime?" you hit him on the chest with your fisted hand. "Why can't I be aaas smaart as youuu?" Another hit. "And why can't I be sooo popular like you areee?"
