Kapitulo 11

When plans push through, time moves fast. It wasn't like people wanted it to, it just does. Well, at least, people think it does.

"Congrats, Cy!" Adiel told Cyra when they found out she had got into the university where she wanted to study for college.

Like how she won during the student council elections in high school, Cyra tears up while looking at the acceptance letter. Adiel embraces his girlfriend with a little laugh.

"You're a crybaby," he mutters.

"I got in," Cyra says with a groan as her tears fill her cheeks.

The two were in the room of Cyra at her house. Hindi sinabi ni Cyra sa magulang niya na ngayon ang labas ng results ng college applications niya dahil takot siyang hindi siya makapapasa. Boyfriend niya lang ang sinama niya sa nerve-wracking day na ito—her best friend.

One of young adult Cyra's plans was to study in college at a school that specializes in business and she got in. After studying for three months for the entrance exam while doing her 12th-grade research, she conquered everything and now got to study not only at a prestigious university but also achieved a dream of hers.

Naunang makuha ni Adiel ang kaniyang resulta sa mga pinag-exam-an at nakapasa naman ang lalaki sa lahat. Ngayon, namimili na lang siya at naghihintay para sa magiging escuela ng nobya niya. Now, he knew that they would most definitely have an LDR for college. He didn't mind. Nakondisyon niya na ang isip niya sa posibilidad na ito. Magandang oportunidad din para sa kanilang dalawa ito, para mas lalo silang mag-mature habang inaabot ang iba pang mga pangarap.

"Come on, let's tell Tito and Tita," inakay na ni Adiel ang babae pababa para maipalam nila na sa mga tao sa baba na sa UK mag-aaral si Cyra.

Pagkasabi ng dalawa sa mga magulang ni Cyra, naiyak sa tuwa si Papay dahil nakita niyang umiiyak ang panganay niya. The emotional scene halted when Adiel made a joke. Paola, Cyra's younger sister, came home while the family celebrated Cyra's new chapter.

"Ano nangyayari?" kabadong tanong ni Paola sa mga tao.

Lumapit si Adiel sa bata na kagagaling lang sa bahay ng kaniyang mga lolo at lola at kinapitan ang balikat nito. In a hushed tone, Adiel said, "lagot ka, Ola."

Lumaki ang mga mata ng bata at tumingin agad sa kaniyang mga magulang. Instead of saying something, the parents played along with Adiel's skit and looked at Paola with disappointment.

Tapos, biglang bumalik ang tingin ni Paola sa lalaki sabay sabing, "H-huh? What? Galing lang ako... kay lola... I didn't do anything!"

Cyra clicked her tongue and went toward her sister. "Little liar," she muttered.

"W-wala nga! I watered the plants before I went out, ah!" paliwanag ng bata. "I-I even ate my greens at lola's house!"

As if a switch was clicked, everyone began laughing. Paola's fear instantly subsided, from looking at each person so quickly, she just stared at her parents. Bumaba ang kaniyang balikat at nakahinga siya nang maluwag.

"Kainis!" the child stomps away with a frown, on her way to her room.

The parents went up to comfort Paola. She was more matampuhin than her Ate.

"You are a much bigger bully to her than I ever was," Cyra told Adiel while she went to the kitchen.

"Wrong, you still have the crown. Remember when you said natapon mo accidentally 'yong project niyang ginawa niya for two weeks? Yeah, nothing can top that!" he replied.
